Love it
This exfoliates perfectly. It's not too soft but also not too rough. I think it's perfect for skin. I don't have sensitive skin tho so if you do it might be too rough. I actually feel clean when I use this and it does wonders on the back. Also can wash it and it won't collect junk like a loofah.

Feels great to use
This is just the right texture I was looking for. It exfoliates well and leaves a very clean feeling.

Cleanliness
It is a really good product and I will buy it again and again. Three out of my five boys work at discount tire and they are daily coming home with tire grease all over them. This product is very good to remove all that grease from their elbows, their hands, and even their neck. It works wonders, and not painful at all.

The definitive Extra Rough, Exfoliating Washcloth review
I've been using Japanese exfoliating towels since the 70s. I've tried every version that's been available in the US, including the new Goshi wash cloth. The "Extra Rough, Exfoliating Washcloth" is a very nice version of an exfoliating towel/wash cloth. It's definitely not as rough as the skull and crossbones would imply. That honor goes to the Salux Super Hard Nylon Japanese Wash Cloth. The Salux is considerably rougher, but that doesn't necessarily make it better at exfoliating. The question is...how rough is rough enough? Some of the more common, softer exfoliating wash cloths are too soft in my opinion, but they may do a fine job of removing spent skin cells. It's difficult to be objective unless you have a skin condition that is only resolved by substantial abrasion. What really impressed me about the Extra Rough Exfoliating Washcloth was the lather. It produced an unusual amount of lather compared to others that I've used, but as I've mentioned it is absolutely not as aggressive as you might hope, or expect, but the result seems as good as the rougher, "hard" Salux. The quality of the weave and the edges of the Extra Rough Exfoliating Washcloth seem better than the Salux, so there's that consideration. I'd definitely buy it again as opposed to the Goshi which, although a very nice, quality wash cloth is very difficult to get to lather unless you really pile on the body wash, and the Goshi is on the softer side of the spectrum as well.

Wow! What a difference!
I have struggled with dry, flaky skin my whole life (33 years). What has helped me up til now is 1) showering no more than 2x a week, 2) use warm, instead of hot, water, 3) exfoliate exfoliate exfoliate, and 4) moisturize after my showers. And this has helped me manage a bit, especially for 24 hours after my shower. However by days 2 and 3, I would start to feel dry again and I hated it (especially in the winter). I saw in a reviews for an exfoliating cloth that this one reviewer had found that using the exfoliating cloth, with a urea based product for cleansing and then a lactic-acid product, for moisturizing after the shower, brought him a ton of relief. I will all the products I'm now using in my routine below. So, I decided to give it a go! Wow wow wow! This is the most hydrated my skin has felt EVER... and it's been longer than 24 hours since my last shower! This cleanser is on the liquidy side, but used in conjunction with my new exfoliation cloth, it lathers up so nice and I actually only need one squirt of this per shower. I use dove for sensitive skin on my delicate skin areas (underarms, thigh crease area, and under breasts) but then use this cleanser everywhere else. I've used it on my face too and haven't had any issues. HIGHLY recommend this product and the other products I bought on Amazon for my dry skin!Body Cleanser:CeraVe Cleanser for Psoriasis Treatment | With Salicylic Acid for Dry Skin Itch Relief & Latic Acid for Exfoliation | Fragrance Free & Allergy Tested | 8 Ounce found at https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075N8CDGT/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Body Exfoliator:Extra Rough, Exfoliating Washcloth [Made in Japan] Exfoliating Towel Special Texture Makes Fluffy Foam Lather, Back Scrubber, Dead Skin Cell Remover found at https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08LMK97T8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Body Moisturizer:AmLactin Rapid Relief Restoring Body Lotion With Ceramides, Moisturizing Lotion for Dry Skin - 14.1 Oz Pump Bottle found at https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07H3YJD3R/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Truly Exfoliative
It is a fine product in itself; however it is too rough for my skin. To be fair, it is as it's described.

Excellent exfoliation! It's rough like a bad date with Chris Brown but none of the damage.
I have a lot of stubborn skin on my back and arms. While pumice works, it would eventually scrape off my skin. I grabbed this towel after seeing its branding and had a chuckle. It felt oddly flimsy, at first, but I was incredibly mistaken when I lathered up a corner and tried it out. After a few regular uses I could feel my arms and back becoming smoother, and even using it on my face has helped clear up some of the small annoying spots on my forehead.Come in for the gimmicky branding, stay for the results.
