Degas is Defas, allways ..
Degas is Degas, always. It's perfectly possible that when sleeping, all what he could draw or painted should be a Degas, a full Degas. Degas is the type that forces us to accept, rather than a nature/nurture dilemma, that talent itself exists and it's crucial. This is clearly perfect in his drawings and pastels.

Degas Drawings
A marvelous collection of drawings, great for learning how to paint ballet dancers and surprisingly other subjects of people that Degas has brought to life on canvas.

worth every penny i paid
print quality could be better, but for the people who know the art of drawing, it is good enough to study from.

Typical Dover imprint.
This is a typical Dover publication, and as such, its strengths and weaknesses are predictable. The former being the reasonable price, the latter being the relatively low quality reproductions. Further, on my copy the spine has completely separated from the page block (I think that is the correct terminology) meaning that I will need to reglue it to avoid further damage. So no, this is not a "permanent book". An argument could be made that one is better off searching the internet for reproductions.

nice book
The book is good size, nicely printed, and shows a range of his drawings. He was an amazing artist, even if he might not have been the nicest of people.

This is a good book with some good examples of the artists draftsmanship
This is a good book with some good examples of the artists draftsmanship. It's always difficult to find book with impressionists drawings because so many of them are just preparatory sketches that were destroyed or lost. This book is a nice collection with some color plates as well.
