CUTEST LITTLE LION EVER!!!!!!!!!!
It was great, I am so very pleased! I hunted for the perfect costume for my little guy, and I think I nailed it. My baby was only 4 months and I bought the 6-12 month size, I was happy that it wasn't too tight, the only thing I wasn't thinking of was the head piece, it was the size of a 6-12 month old, so it didn't stay on his head properly (just a little loose sliding in his eyes occasionally), but I was not willing to error on the other side and have the costume part not long enough for his long body. Also, I wanted to be able to put a onesie and cotton pants on underneath to make sure he wouldn't get too cold in the chilly October air. I was happy for the squeaky mouse because he started getting annoyed at the end of the night and that distracted him well.ONE draw back, I wore a black shirt and had little fuzzes all over me from holding him in this cute costume. Maybe if I would have washed it first then it wouldn't have been so bad?? Oh well, if I had it to do all over again, I would definitely pick it again and again. I LOVED my little Lion! Besides, can't beat the cuteness for the price!!! Just GREAT!! Very PLEASED!!!!

Misleading Photo - Sheds Horribly!
I was very disappointed with the actual costume once it arrived. The mane is less than 1/2 the size of what is pictured here, and it's too small to fasten around by 6-month-old's chin (we bought 6-12 month size). What's worse is the fur sheds off if you even breathe on it. My baby ended up with clumps of synthetic fur in his elbows, knees, fists, and MOUTH. It also ended up all over me, as well. Not good. His twin sister got a monkey costume from a different manufacturer (InCharacter), and it was 10x better made. Hers was fully lined with finished cuffs and hems, and had super soft fur that never came off.. This one just has raw, cut edges to the fur, no lining, and an itchy, stringy, unraveling interior. If you are looking for a lion costume, find another brand.

ADORABLE, BUT RECEIVED 2 DIFFERENT COSTUMES
This has got to be the CUTEST lion costume ever but be warned… I received 2 different outfits so that may explain why there’s mixed reviews. Regardless, I thought both options were much better than what you would find at Party City and ended up keeping the one on the right. My 9 month old barely fit the 6-12 month sizing but he’s also over 28” in height.I was happy that the head piece stayed on the entire time and it didn’t bother my little one, but it does shed a lot. Like some others mentioned, it was also more of an orangey color than pictured but I was fine with it. I ended up buying a brown hairy fabric to make the lion’s mane pop out but didn’t do a really good job putting it on and probably would’ve been better off leaving the costume as-is.Despite these minor things, the costume is still a 5/5 and everyone loved it. Would definitely recommend!

Not the same costume as pictured.
The picture of the product is much higher quality but for what I paid it’s still a cute costume. It was really warm even though it’s a thinner material. It comes with a body piece and head is separate and a little mouse (not a rattle). The size fit and he wasn’t uncomfortable. I will say this costume sheds so put it in the dryer before they wear it to get the loose hair off. I wish I knew where to get the costume from the product photo 😕

Very cute!
I would have given this 5 stars had it looked exactly like it does in the picture, however, even though it is different, it is still cute.(I will post a picture for reference)Differences:-The mane isn't nearly as large/puffy as it shows in the picture, and it is not as neat/clean looking... it almost looks a little matted.-The color is not a rusty brown color like it shows in the picture... it is a lighter/orangy color.-The head piece is way too big for any 6-9 month old baby that I have ever seen! Doesn't fit nearly as snug as it does in the picture.Another issue we have that isn't really a "difference" but a little bit annoying, is that the costume sheds... TERRIBLY. Resulting in little pieces of fuzz... EVERYWHERE... including the baby's mouth/face. This is manageable, though... you just need to keep up with cleaning up the shedding fur.Even though it is not exactly like the costume pictured, it is still a very cute costume! ..and frankly, cheaper and better made than most other costumes I have seen as it is not a few pieces of felt glued together with a $35 price tag like most other costumes seem to be!

So so
This costume is ok. The color of the costume when it arrived is completely different than the one in the photo, also I ordered this costume for my 7 month old so I chose size 7-12 months. When I tried it on my baby boy the actual outfit was to small and so was the head piece. The tail is extremely short and not at all what I expected it to be considering it’s supposed to be for a lion , I think the tail of the costume reminds me more of a bear so does the overall look of the costume itself. This costume sheds a lot so I had to manually go through the whole costume just to pluck any loose fur ( there was a lot) mostly because my baby is teething and putting everything in his mouth and I really don’t want that to be a problem. Finally the mouth was advertised as a rattle but it doesn’t rattle or even make any noise. I read the other comment and someone said that there mouse squeaked but the one that came with this costume is only a stuffed mouse with nothing but cotton inside which really kinda disappointed me because my baby loves rattles and that was one of the main reasons I went with this costume over all the other I had been seeing prior to ordering this one. Another reason I ordered this costume was because the picture made it seem thicker and that’s just not that case…it’s extremely thin and somewhat fragile material and the main is only in the very front with nothing in the back, it’s also short and rough to the touch. All in all this costume is so so…not the best in the world but not the worst either. I probably will avoid purchasing from this company in the future especially with the size chart being so crazy.
