I use this to recycle broken tees for Par 3’s. They’re short, and if they brake, they’ve at least lasted for more than one tee and I’ve gotten my moneys worth on purchasing tees. I put the tees I sharpened next to a brand new yellow tee for reference. These tees should get some good use. Always nice to have on hand for my golf buddies too so they don’t have to tee off the ground if they don’t want to, but have no tee available.

Yes...I know it is not a MUST have to play golf. But it makes pushing a broken tee into the ground a lot easier. Some tee boxes where I live are very hard and it is not easy to push a broken tee into the ground...but now it is a breeze after sharpening the broken end with this cool tool. Try it.

I wanted to get this because I've seen other people who have sharpened their broken tees and liked the idea. I only use the plastic tees and the description says it can do it. So I got this today and sharpened about 16 tees. The pics show that this thing does work. Some tees sharpen better than others. The tees with the smooth tops are way easier to twist in the sharpener than the ones with the bumpy top edges. It is tough to twist the tees in the sharpener for plastic. I ended up with a blister after doing this set. I'll have to figure out something to use to twist the tees instead of my hand, maybe a socket wrench. I just wonder how long the sharpener blades will stay sharp before it gets dull. I'll have to wait and see.

Allows me to shorten a long golf tee to a height that I am comfortable with. I used to just cut them off, but with no point you can’t get them in the ground. With this device you can resharpen any tee. My problem, and yours if you prefer a shorter tee, is solved with this simple device. And it works like a champ. Money well spent.

It’s a good idea, it worked a couple of times really well. Then the sharpening blade broke off or something else happened. And it cut at an angle and the shavings pack into the bottom.

I find broken plastic tees, sharpen them to make perfect par 3 tees, and give them to my playing partners. Fun toy to hang on the bag.
