Works for my Canon SX70 HS
Attached to my Canon and my computer, pressed the gallery button on the camera to connect. Works well. Just what I needed. I really dislike that my camera did not come with one and that I had to buy it separately, but I am grateful that I could find it here on Amazon.

Worth it!
I wanted to connect my Canon M50 to my iMac so I can see it in real time while using a certain software. However, the only usb cables I had to connect to my iMac were some usb cables that did fit but would not work because they are only used for charging. They don’t transfer data/livestream. This cable slows for that data transfer and livestream option. This cable doesn’t come with the Canon M50 original box. I hooked it up and it works. I’m going to buy another just as a backup.

A must for some Canon RAW downloads
Canon just refuses to make some things easy. I bought the EOS M50 Mark II for a lightweight option to carrying the full frame system, and it succeeds with decent image quality, but to download RAW files you will only find instructions to set up the WiFi connection for that purpose (I lost many RAW files using card readers with cable). After finally figuring out how set up the WiFi, one could easily make and drink a cup of tea in the time it takes for a modest number of JPG/RAW files to download. I guess there is a viable reason for even bothering to offer the tech, but dang if I know.Buy this cable if you want RAW files and spend the extra time editing. It works.

Instant Connection
Worked so well to hook up my camera to the computer. Wifi never worked consistently so I needed direct contact. Came promptly as advertised.

Does NOT fit the Canon Powershot G7 X Mark III
Although the description says it works, it does not fit the Canon Powershot G7 X Mark III.Meanwhile I found out that you can just charge the camera with a USB C to USB C cable plugged into either a wall charger or a USB C port on your laptop (or on a USB hub connected to your laptop). No need for specific cables or chargers.

Authentic Canon Cable!
Purchased for a Canon 90D, lost original cable and wanted an OE replacement. I chose to purchase the used one from amazon warehouse and you couldn't tell the difference from new other then the generic package. It works perfectly with the 90D and I would purchase this item again.

You need this if you have Windows 10
I have a Canon Powershot 620 SX. When I got a new computer with Windows 10, I could not set up the wireless function to download photos into the computer. After many hours, and then another half hour on the phone with Canon, the rep finally said that with the security features in Windows 10, only about 7 out of 10 cameras can still use wireless. He said he got fed up with his cameras and just bought a cable! So that's what I did, and it works great. (I also had to spend an hour figuring out how to get my photos by order of date, which isn't obvious. But that's another story.)

Easy to transfer pics
This is exactly what I needed. Made transferring pictures from my Cannon EOS extremely easy.
