Does the job
I needed to replace sound posts in some student instruments. This product allowed me to.It is shipped as a straight/flat piece and needs bending into shape. The material is flat enough to do this.I would still recommend getting a professional to reset the sound post in any kind of valuable instrument.

In case of emergency, it lives in my violin case
Allowed me to reset sound post, but takes a bit of effort to create the correct bends. A dental mirror is a huge help, so maybe add a cheap one to your basket!Ideally the "sharp end" could be a bit thinner and a bit sharper. But it worked for me and only took a couple of attempts.
