Q: Has anyone washed their throw? how does it look after being washed a few times? tia

yes you can wash it. Put it in the machine as cold as possible 30 degrees or lowest temp that yoUr machine has( short program).Do not use any fabric softener only use a small bit of powder or liqued soap (wol).Use about 1400 centrifuge power until program ends. Get the blanket out ( do not put it in a dryer) hang it outside or inside use a hair brush to gently pull all the fibers in one direction and let it dry .It should feel and smell brand new again.

Q: Is this blanket made from non- flammable material?

The blanket is made from 100% polyester, therefore, it is flammable. That said, I don't see how one could make a convincing fake fur with a natural material. I am delighted with my blanket - it's been thrown over my favourite chair all winter. Whenever I return from making a cup of tea, invariably one of my boys will be sat in it because it's so cosy. When the blanket is first removed from its packaging, the blanket doesn't look impressive. One has to brush the fibres against the grain and tuft them up. The more one uses it the more fur-like it becomes. I chose a darker fur and the colouring is very naturalistic with each fibre coloured with a dark tip and lighter base. I DO NOT recommend that this product is put next to an open fire or naked candles etc. Otherwise, I can't recommend it enough.
