It’s batteries
It’s just batteries and does what normal batteries does. If it works, then it works. That’s good enough for me.

Don't Waste Your Money!
Bought a 6 pack to use in a laser range finder. Placed a fresh battery in the range finder and a spare in the case. Used the range finder one time with measurements on and off for about an hour. Turned off the unit and went home. Took the unit out yesterday (2 weeks later) and it was dead from the get go...thinking I am smart for putting a spare in the case, I popped out the old and replaced with the new and the range finder was DEAD! I took 2 more batteries and measured their voltage out of the pack and they were 3.26 volts. I then placed them into the unit turned it on and it would not operate. Took batteries out and measured voltage and it was now 3.01 (Did this twice). The batteries immediately died upon placing into the unit under load as they were in there less than a minute. This is the first time this has ever happened in a year using this device.I am going to buy more CR2 batteries in a different brand and try...if I get the same result I will come back and remove this review as it would then appear to be my unit.
