I would not recommend this product, the quality is bad, I had to throw it away

My 5 year old daughter likes the stories, and one page each person makes it easier for her to read herself.I brought the book to our Daisy Girl Scout troop meeting where they earned a badge about being courageous and strong. We started by playing Bold Maid (which I also recommend). Someone asked who Amelia Earhart was. My daughter grabbed the book and started reading her page! Then another girl wanted to read a page out loud! And two other girls wanted the book themselves! This book was a big hit for 5-7 year olds!During the troop meeting, the book and Bold Maid game prompted conversations about what world leaders like Angela Merkel do and how did Helen Keller walk around school if she was blind and deaf. The girls shared personal stories of how they got back up on their bikes or skates when they fell, and joined a t-ball team even though they were nervous. The meeting was a big hit! The book is awesome!

Full of female role models and their life acheivements. Mum reads it every night to my 7yr old twin grandaughters. Excellent!

Alert: transgender girl chapter, age appropriate story. I love this book and read it cover to cover and was looking forward to giving it to and reading it to my 6 yr old granddaughter, however since it includes a transgender girl, I cannot give this to her now because her parents are against her learning about this. Not my opinion, theirs. Since the other stories told are about accomplished females I thought it would be great for her. There should be an alert on it so parents and grandparents know before buying.

I let my daughter look through and she chooses which one she wants to read together based on the portrait. The portraits of each woman are wonderful and each story is short enough to hold her attention. I am excited to learn about more amazing women in history and help my daughter realize that women can do amazing things!
