Superb camo for a bargain!
Look, you aren't going to get the ultimate quality for this price, so if quality is your focus, move along. This is a great piece of camo that will last a number of hunts. It's not a heirloom piece and it will noticeably shed fibers from day one. However, the camo is extremely effective, and the value is unarguably excellent. If this thing lasted you one season, it would be money well-spent, but it should last several seasons. It is relatively heavy in weight, and it is highly insulating. I don't even think about using it in hot weather. For jump shooting ducks, this thing is priceless!

Perfect
It’s perfect as is, but I wanted extra fluff and added an additional pound of synthetic camo yarn (as seen in my second picture), and will be adding an additional pound of yarn soon. It’s way warmer than expected and general only wear a t-shirt underneath 40F. It’s great as is and is a great base for customizing. Can’t beat the low price too.

Not bad for what it is
It's not bad. Could be better. Wasn't expensive. Works effectively. I can sit under a tree and not be noticed unless you know im there. Breaks up my outline and keeps wildlife from spotting me even when moving (albiet quite slowly). Fits my large frame fine.

Not Enough Material
For the price... you are getting a good starter ghillie poncho. This ghillie poncho is nothing like the pictures and has very little ghillie thread sewn to it. It is worth the price but you will need to add about 10 foot of 4 foot wide leafy netting and a 1/2 Lbs bundle of ghillie thread to fill it out like I did in the pictures. The first picture is what you get with big open areas of the backing net exposed. The other pictures are after I added in the leafy netting and the more greener ghillie thread at the shoulders and top of the hood to break up the outline better and had my face. Cut the leafy netting in to 4 foot by 20 inch and a few 4 foot by 8 inch strips. Use the 8 inch to fill in around the hood and where the top of the arms will be use the 20 inch strips on the front and back of the poncho. Sew the strips in a few places at the top as if you are wearing it and a few spots along the outer edges of the poncho. Next work your way along the strips of leafy netting pulling the ghillie thread through the holes while mixing up the pattern. The ghillie thread will hold down the leafy netting in some places where the ghillie thread is sewn down with no lose end, pull the leafy netting up between the poncho net and the ghillie thread and in spots pull some of the leafy netting out to break up the flattened out ghillie thread, then sew it in spots so it will stay. I bought the leafy netting and ghillie thread her on Amazon. also used Coats & Clark Black Upholstery thread that is super tough thread for sewing the material down in spots and stitching down the clumps of added ghillie thread. Hope the info helps improve your ghillie poncho project. I rated this ghillie poncho 3 stars for a half finished project that is listed and pictured as a fully finished ghillie poncho with a good quality net backing.

Love this
I love this thing! It’s not the best one out there but it packs down easy and goes on and off easily. For me, it’s easier to deal with than a full suit. It goes over the head like a regular poncho and has elastic bands to slip your arms through. It also provides a little extra warmth on cold days when I’m hunting. It will pick up every stick and get caught in limbs, but I’m sure they all do.

Up close and personal!
Used this ghillie poncho for archery hunting. I had just vegged it up a little and had a nice 8pt buck at 8 yds directly in front of me. Unable to harvest due to a tree. The deer could not pinpoint my exact location until dummy me moved my toes... I forgot to move the dead leaves out from under my feet when I sat down. Then, 10 minutes later, I had a flock of turkey at 5 yds directly behind me. I then decided to move locations after that, and 30 minutes into sitting at new location, a squirrel almost climbed up my leg. For the money, this thing really works. I am the type that cannot sit still, especially when my butt and back start hurting from sitting still too long. It covered my pack, and my hip worn quiver. I sat in a small folding hunting chair, and it draped over me and the chair and touched the ground. Lightweight, breathable, and tough. I only lost on string, and that was due to a wild rose vine. For the money, it worked as expected, if not better. I did not soak in muddy water or anything. only thing that was cumbersome was my monocular string got wrapped up in the strings, but it untangled easy. I would highly recommend. it came in a nice camo bag to boot.

Perfect for the Purpose
This poncho is super light and fit is right on. At 5'11" this hangs just the way I need it. Will be perfect for sitting in my 🦌 blind. Would not suggest hiking through thick brush as it may get torn up.
