RubbermaidRMS-3T 3 Steel Step Stool with Project Tray, Black

I bought this to replace a cheap, plastic folding step which provide no support. If you want a sturdy, high quality step stool that's very easy to use, this is the stool. It give a petite person just enough height to reach taller shelves. I use it in my laundry room and it collapses neatly between my washer and dryer. I also appreciate it's powder white metal and non-slip gray base. Finally, it doesn't seem to have any pinch points. I'll be ordering more.

This is a very sturdy, strong step stool ladder, easy to fold and store out of the way, and carry with you around the house to wherever it is needed. It arrived in a timely manner in good condition. Last, but not least, it is ready to use out of the box: there is nothing to assemble; no instructions to follow.I would order this again.

Used this at a friend's house and felt very secure as I helped her with her curtains...much more than what I was using at my home. I have now used it at home and it's a secure feeling to be able to get up high and not feel endangered. The little shelf is wonderful...you can put the light bulb or screws or tools on it and it's right there, handy, don't have to go up and down for your stuff! Very sturdy. Folds up very flat. A bit heavy, because it's made of steel, but when it's flat, I just put my arm through and off we go. It even has a tiny, little lock to keep it locked when you step on it. Push it and you fold it easily. I am keeping it in a little corner inside the house so it's always handy. It's only 2" across when folded!!! Pretty good!

I have to say this step stool is everything I've been searching for in a step stool. It's quite tall, I'm 5'4" and the top of my head is an inch from my ceiling when I'm on the highest step. Yet it's still compact enough to store easily (we store ours in that small gap between the fridge and cupboards). It's lightweight enough that most women and children 10 and up should be able to maneuver it with ease. The step stool seems to be constructed well, seems very sturdy, and you can feel it lock into place adding an extra sense of security, oh and don't forget the grip bar at top just incase you start tipping back and need to grab ahold. Now, to my favorite feature the project tray which includes a mini storage box to hold all those little necessities you find yourself having to go up and down for on every project...no more getting down to pick up the screw you forgot or dropped, no more having to search every where for the nails you just had before climbing up, and no more having to locate screws and nails before starting your project since they will already be with the step stool locked in securely at the top waiting and ready to go!! The project tray also has a spot for a large paint can and holes to hold screw drivers during project. Let me tell you what a great feature and real time saver not to mention how much frustration and stress it eliminates! My only dislike is that its a little stiff to up open and fold up, however I'm sure with a few uses it will loosen up and if not its nothing a little WD-40 can't handle but I'm sure it won't come to that. All n All I absolutely love it and would highly recommend to anyone in need of a step stool for around the house, garage, yard, or office to invest in the Rubbermaid RMS-3T 3-Step Steel Step Stool with Project Tray!

The best folding step ladder. Very sturdy and folds completely flat. Love it

Purchased this as a replacement for another one that literally wore out after several years' nearly constant use. Rubber caps on the legs help stability. Only suggestion is for a wider, squared-off bar on top.

Sturdy ladder/stool. Hand hold at the top helps with balance walking up the ladder.

I like the safety catch feature. At 72 who wants to fall down because the step ladder folded?
