Damla Colombina Fancy Filled Soft Candy -Assortment, 800g - 28.22oz (1 Pack)

I lived in Japan for a year and was introduced to these candies by a fellow American living near me. They're not Japanese, they're Turkish, but they're a popular candy in those foreign goods stores (think Trader Joe's but in Japan.) Trying these out for the first time, I was instantly hooked. There's also a sour variant of this same candy that I think is even better than these, but these alone are incredible. They're a soft candy, similar to a fruit Tootsie Roll, but they're not quite that, even. It's hard to describe what they're like, but I assure you, you will not be disappointed!

This is probably my favorite candy outside of chocolate. Every flavor is unique and I do like how unwrapped they are all white in color. I like that you can open 2-3 and try to guess the flavor. Also, for the price you get a ton of candy. I have brought them to work multiple times and they only last about a day or two. I cannot recommend enough!

Good product. Only buy during big sales (at least 25% off in addition to subscribe & save then cancel. Why? Because it’s far cheaper at local retailers than via Amazon.

Super delicious fruity flavors. I love hard candy but at my age I worry about breaking a tooth. Also didn’t want anything too chewy for fear of suctioning out a filling (yes, getting old IS a challenge in so many ways). And, I didn’t want to spend an arm and a leg. I read some reviews and just about everyone agreed how good these candies were. So I risked a try. They arrived in a flimsy circular plastic container-of-sorts with a large amount of plastic wrap placed around and over the squished flimsy top in a questionable effort to protect the candy I suppose. BUT, I forgive the awful packaging as this candy is so good, moist, soft but not overly chewy AND economical. Do I recommend it? You bet I do. Yum!
