My girlfriend bought this for her dwarven LARP character. She says "Ordered MATS, received Rubies. Doesn't say alternate brand anywhere in product description. Other than that, this Rubies brand beard is great. Takes some brushing and combing to fluff it out. Rather than using the spirit gum it came with, I used Pros-Aide II."Edit: turns out Pros-Aide is the incorrect type of adhesive to use with lace, it cannot be cleaned off of the lace. Too gummy. Use spirit gum!

I wore for a bearded lady costume. Looked realistic and wasn’t too itchy.

Literally a dollar store beard. Not real hair. Took forever to get a refund

The material feels a bit too stuck together and has a weird rough/frizzy texture, although brushing it out helped to fix that. The inside of it looks cheaply put together and the bottom is cut very unaturally. It'll probably still work for what I need it but I dont think I would buy this again. On the positive, it is the perfect length for what I need.

This exceeded my expectations. It's INCREDIBLE and it slipped so quickly! I will be purchasing more facial hair from this shop in the future

Worked great for halloween but did start to come off after about 6 hours.

I have NOT tried this as its for Halloween but it looks and feels great, can't wait to try it.Update: Just wowed, amazed at how real it looked, many many compliments about how real it looked. Felt comfortable

The listing says that it’s Mats brand and 100% human hair. It is neither of these things. It came in Forum packaging and is synthetic with possibly a few random strands of human in it. I was looking for a specific shape of beard for a performance and needed it in black. I could only find this one in the right shade. Since it says 100% human hair, I bought it and was just going to dye it black. It did not take at all! If it was human hair it would have taken the color with now problem. Instead, only a few random strands colored and the rest stayed exactly the same.This may not be an issue for most people but when you’re looking for 100% human hair, and see something that says just that, you expect to get that!I only gave it two stars because the shape was right.
