Great replacement valve!!
Replaced a cable driven Fleck dual tank valve. Went with the digital as the last Fleck cable driven gears stripped and the cost of replacing the part was just not worth it. This new one has much less moving parts. Easy install for a do it yourself person. You need to know your water details, I.E. iron, minerals etc in order to program it. I took a sample to a local water treatment store and for a minimal charge got all info I needed to program that replacement valve. I have been using this since March and so far it works great. With the last valve I was rinsing every 2000 gallons as that was the max I could set it for. with my tanks sizes and whats is in my well water I need to be rinsed every 3500 gallons, again knowing what is in your water helps on programing. I am now using way less for the rinse. Everything is working great after 9 months.

Questionable condition
Received package in rough shape. After opening, no packing material, parts looked almost used. Couldn't justify trying to install what might have been a defective $700 item that someone previously returned. Returned to amazon, bought on eBay, package was way better, obviously brandy new.

Perfect Replacement for Mechanical Fleck 9100
This was a perfect replacement for my mechanical Fleck 9100 Control Valve. It comes with everything, except the bypass valve, which is clearly explained in the description. This was by far the best price I found, and it was so easy to program. It was a one-for-one direct replacement, which took all of about a half hour to install.

Fine replacement overall
Delivery was fast and the price was competitive. Note the bypass is not included, but it was compatible with my old one anyway. One star removed because one of the thumb screws holding the faceplate on the valve was badly stripped, making normal removal impossible. Fortunately, the thumbscrews from my old one worked fine.

Great replacement for a Fleck 9100 valve
I replaced a mechanical Fleck 9100 valve with this electronic Fleck 9100 SXT version. It has been working great. One key to successfully setting the valve parameters in the settings menu is to know the resin capacity of your tanks in grains and take 75% of that as the value entered, or alternatively, increase the hardness setting by 1.25. Another very important key is to know that water holds 3 lbs of salt per gallon - knowing this and the flow rate of the brine injector (0.5 gpm for the valve I'm using) you can set the number of minutes needed for the brine water refill (called "BF" in the settings for brine fill) so that you use the right amount of salt needed to regenerate the tanks based on the resin capacity and don't waste salt. There is little documentation out there on how to do this, however, the directions for the older style mechanical 9100 valve gives some good clues. There are a number of websites to get the recommended pounds of salt for regeneration based on the resin capacity of the tanks however. If you run out of soft water before the unit regens because your water is harder than you thought or your resin bed is somewhat depleted, just raise the hardness setting to regen sooner, or increase the minutes for BF (however, this is generally a less salt efficient way to do it).

Great! Make sure you have your tank diameters right and have the correct length crossover tubes
Great support from seller, helpful info and install support. Replaced a mechanical 9100 - and this lets more pressure and volume through. All around great replacement. Make sure you have the correct fittings and it goes together like a dream.

unit came without cross feed tubes
Unit shows complete head assembly, however upon install we realized there are no cross tubes for unit.

Expensive but perfect replacement
Easy to replace the original controller and valves. Works great no problems.
