Q: If one were to take it in the morning, would it one sleepy or more awake?

There is not an sedating or stimulating effect but I do take it in the morning, along with NOW Ginkgo Biloba 120 mg. Just a gut feeling, if it is stimulating a brain-enzyme, better to do it in the morning. The PPS was recommended to me by my doctor for anxiety. Being menopausal, I was really frustrated over my decline in the ability to focus and multi-task. With three teenage daughters, this decline resulted in increased anxiety. For me it was a successful cumulative effect. I only took one capsule a day and at the end of the bottle, I asked my husband if he had noticed any difference. It was one of my more expensive supplements and I did not want to continue if no noticeable effect on my anxiety issues. He said 'buy it now.' I am not sure of the reason, but it does recommend to take breaks every now and them. My last break, I forgot to start taking again after the break, and it took me about a week to realize why I was so scatter-brained. I know this was more than you asked but hope it helps.

It's 10% - 70% PS, and depends on the grade of PS-green they used in the softgel, which isn't listed on the manufacture's website. Due to the source, and because it is not 100% pure PS, there must be PC and PE included, as these are also part of cell membrane phospholipids.
