Very convenient especially with G-Tech ev readers
I have 20 of these with 256G, 512G, and 1TB SSDs. They slide into my Atomos Shogun Flames for recording. I then slide them into one of 4 G-Technology ev Series Readers for ingest. I also use a few for client-specific storage so one drive/caddy has all ongoing projects for that client. While inserted, SyncBackPro runs automatically to sync them to my Synology NAS and to the cloud (Backblaze) every hour. I find this to be a very stable and efficient 3-2-1 backup plan that works well with my video production workflow. Even if you just use the caddies with the ev readers and don’t have an Atomos recorder, it’s still a very convenient storage solution since you can keep them in a stack or rack and mount/unmount them as you work. I highly recommend.

This is my second 5-pack. Works great with my current Ninja V and the Ultra.

Fits securely and protects SSHD.
This case is simple. The SSHD is fitted into bottom half of the case, the top of the case is then put in place and fastened by four tiny Phillip's head screws (which are provided with the Caddy(s)). It takes up hardly more volume than the SSHD alone and seems to be sturdy enough to protect against drops from a desktop, etc, while causing no interference with cable attachment. My only problem with it is that now I want to buy four more SSHDs.

Useful, expensive.
I wish they were made of metal. Not strictly necessary but at least they would be recyclable then. Works fine and definitely makes it easier to replace/remove your drives. Definitely over-priced but what other option do you have?

Ordered the Atomos ATOMCAD112 Master Caddy II Hard Drive Case (5 Pack) for my newly acquired Atomos Ninja Inferno. This item was shipped and delivered in the quickest time, quicker than I ever imagined. Since its Atomos, these are compatible with the Ninja Inferno, with an equally compatible hard drive.

Let's Try And Clear Up Some Confusion
Atomos HD caddies come in two styles. An older "one groove" style, and a newer "two groove," style. The older version works on Atomos devices like the Ninja II, where the one groove version will not work on newer Atomos gear.These are the two groove versions - they work on the Ninja V perfectly and mine came in the proper box, with all screws and required hardware.
