Moleskine 9 x 25 cm Cahier Journal Set 3 Notebooks with Plain Pages Cardboard Cover and Visible Cotton Stiching - Kraft Brown

These used to come in even more different cover colours... but the product itself is still the same excellent thing. I have the XL size - not too big, not too small, not too thin, and there's a pocket on the back inside-cover to hold slips of paper. There aren't all that many similar products out there that are so well made, especially plain paper without lines/grids etc. It's stitched not stapled, which I also like. I wish it was cheaper, but I suppose you have to pay a little more for good things.

Fell in love with these few good years ago, and I use them for my work (IT). I do buy them, cause my workplace doesn't provide office supplies of better quality. My SO also likes them/uses these, and he's on a lower budget most of the time, but they have a nice feel to it, and artists like himself seem to also appreciate them. Greatly recommend.

Due bellissimi quaderni a righe, uno arancio ruggine e uno verde chiaro... belli come tutti i quaderni moleskine... peccato che a fronte di tanta cura estetica che non può non attrarre i grafomani come me, ci sia una qualità della carta vergognosamente scadente per cui non si può usare la penna stilografica o inchiostro a gel perché traspare sul retro del foglio. Ho chiesto delucidazioni sulla grammatura della carta visto che si guardano bene dall'indicarla e mi hanno detto che i loro quaderni (tranne edizioni imitate a 40 € l'uno!!!) hanno una carta standard da 70 g/m²!!! Aggiungono anche: "è perfetta per la scrittura con strumenti asciutti ed è adatta per le penne e matite Moleskine"!!! Non ho parole! 70 gr nemmeno il più scadente quaderno comprato a 50 cent nella più desueta cartoleria! Che infinita delusione! Con infinito dispiacere, dico mai più Moleskine! E' indecente e vergognoso.

I cannot explain how much I love these cahier notebooks. They may seem pricey but the construction is incredible, the binding, paper quality, the cover is impossibly durable despite having a flexible cardboardy feel.They don't easily wear and have enough space for substantial notetaking.I use these for taking ALL my notes in my law degree. I use one per module and each one has lasted about a term despite being super lightweight and thin.Will definitely be using these for the duration of my studies.RECOMMENDED.

I buy a set of three extra-large cahiers every couple of months. As notebooks go these are the most convenient I have yet come across. The paper is a decent enough quality for the HB and 2B pencils I use. The paper doesn't tear easily. I also like the narrow ruling.Their real strength is their size. A large notebook allows you to get plenty of details onto a single page, but can be inconvenient to cart around. A small notebook is convenient to carry, but not so convenient when you need to record plenty of details.These cahiers get the trade-off about right: plenty of paper to get the details down yet small enough to remain convenient in tight places like a crowded bus when you want to revise.
