The colors do not blend. Use it for ink art. It is not good for watercolor painting.

These pens took a bit to figure out. There were no directions. I could not get the ink to flow unless I squeezed the pen then ink went everywhere. Where they screw together is not secure and the did not have very much in in them. I would have to say Senneleir is usually quality products but not in this case.

There were no instructions but apparently, you have to remove the ring in order to connect the ink to the flow mechanism. You also need to wash the starch out of the brush to let in the ink. One of the pens leaked through the seam onto my hand despite being twisted all the way on. Two of them didn't want to flow properly regardless of the amount of shaking or squeezing. Really disappointing. I expected more out of a Sennelier product. Pen mechanisms aside, I don't like this ink. I think it is too thick to work properly in a pen. These are nothing like watercolors or other inks I've used. Couldn't get the green stains off my hand today. While I thought these were pigment based, they seem like dye (lightfastness matters to me). Oh, they all have the same fine silver glitter thrown into them. They are not at all iridescent. Ugh! Returning them.

I’m so disappointed because the ink looked beautiful. The pens weren’t sealed properly, so there was ink in the package when they arrived. I cleaned them up and tried to use them, but couldn’t use them properly because they were leaking everywhere. What I could see if the ink was beautiful and quite vibrant though.

Not even remotely worth the price. Leaks everywhere despite being screwed on all the way, ruined a new pad just trying to experiment with these.
