Good quality
Great for the value but the paper is about thin

well at least they are paper, they were honest about one thing
I've always used the true 5 x 8 pads from the big office chain, but these looked like the real thing, but as I was worried, once owned, thin flimsy paper, and once you factor in the full 1" margin, and the full 1" you tear off the top you have a 4 x 7 piece of paper, the 1/4" ruling is the only possibly nice part, but after using the glue top full 5 x 8 pads, which are $5 less, and 20% more usable paper, with no margin, who needs a 1" margin on a 5" wide sheet??very sadly disappointed, ordered 3 full packs from the big office place so I won't run short and even consider this type again, I bought the Amazon Basics pads years ago, and at least they were cheaper, but they were the same, maybe better, but nothing is like the full 5 x 8 glue top sheets why buy a 5 x 8, when you only get a 4 x 7 pad to use? for much more money ??

Different length every second sheet
The pic is 4 sheets of paper. Every second sheet is about 3mm ~1/4" longer than the one before it. Kind of a deal breaker for me. It probably makes them tear off more cleanly or something, but they don't fold in half neatly so they don't fit properly into a #6 envelope...which is kind of the point for a pad this size. (yes, I use them for snail mail. I have stamps and everything. lol).

Poor printing. Sharpe and irregular edge
The lines are poorly printed. The lines are not parallel to the bottom and the last row has only half the space. The bottom edge is irregular and sharpe.The merchant cleverly hided the bottom part with a "instruction sheet" so you have to remove the plastic wrap before noticing the defects.The paper itself is okay.

Nice enough but not for fountain pens
The paper has nice weight and feel. It is smooth, but it bleeds through a lot so I cannot use it with fountain pens as I had planned.

Very Good Quality
I was quick to judge when I first received these based on the price compared to what I had previously purchased from Amazon Basics and Staples. Now that I am using the pads, the quality and thickness is much better and they tear off easily unlike the other cheap note pads. Will buy again and apologize for my original review.
