I have worked on these devices in the past. But the new version has a entirely revamped Web GUI for management. This is a second device I have for my house and once I plugged it in with my own power supply (you have to buy one or use POE), it took the configuration of the master and work right out of the box. The virtual controller setup (default) is great for home or small business.

We installed this on the face of our dropped ceiling tile in the center of our 4,100 sq. ft. office building and the coverage is excellent. Originally thought we might need 2 of these but one did the job. Powered via PoE from our HP 48-port Cat 6 PoE switch. EASY installation.

AP Worked great at first then had some problems. Tried to Warranty with Aruba and learned that BechTec is not an authorized reseller so i am out $500 with no AP now. Buyer Beware!

Very weird design of the mounting kit for ceiling tile grid. First of all, they expect installer to tear down the grid. The second, it doesn’t fit mine. Need to order different mounting kit I guess... waste one day.
