Coat my boat deck and it worked great
The capret on my 20 year old boat was starting to show it's age and rather than a full tear down to get access under all the parts of the boat the carpet is laid over, I stripped the carpet and tried this stuff.Getting the right tint was .....some work. I went to a local auto body/parts store with an email from UPOL and got the right stuff.Application was very easy, although gravity works!.....and spraying down, especially in tight quarters vs spraying a vertical surface made getting the bottom of the bottle drained a slight challenge. This stuff has proven very durable so far. However I will say that after 2 coats it was MUCH more slippery than I wanted, especially with wet feet, wet shoes, etc., in a boat. Rather than the metal dust addative, I bought some rubber pellets (in "fine" size) and added those to the bottle, and sprayed them on the last coat, and I did sprinkle some on top of the wet stuff I just sprayed. This made a WORLD of difference in grip. Without it, this product would be terribly slick when wet, or when wet AND cold. Biggest surprise about this product, never imagined it would be that "teflon-ish."FYI, this product is NOT a filler. At all. It's more of a heavy paint. So if you're looking to fill cracks, grain in wood, gaps between wood pieces, etc., better get some Bondo down first, or plan on using some sort of trim to cover it up. 2-3 coats should be more than enough for most applications, and make sure you get your starting surface as smooth and crack/gap free as possible.*spraying heavy, and then using a coarse paint brush to work the product in, definitely helped fill in the open grain of my old treated deck boards. Without doing that, you could see every detail of the grain of the wood, where knots were punched out at the factory, etc.Great stuff, highly recommend!

Great Product. Make sure you pay attention to what you order when it comes to color.
I decided like most to try the DIY route on a spray in bedliner since it was going to cost me around $550 to have Line-x, Rhino or Bullet spray it for me. I came across numerous videos for Raptor liner. The video's made this look pretty easy to do. I have a white Ram 1500 short bed truck. This is pretty easy to use. I'm not a painter by any means of the word. I can't paint to save my life but this was pretty cut and dry. I ordered the wrong kit. I thought I ordered black but I ordered tintable. Because I didn't pay attention, when I shot it, I was like WTF, why is this white? Then I looked and felt like a dumba$$ for ordering the wrong stuff. But I decided since I've already done all of the prep work, let just do it. So if you decide to go with white, make sure you get at least 8 bottle. I went with 6 thinking that was going to be too much and it was not enough. After 6 bottles, you can still see a lot of the of the metal area where I sanded. 8 would have done the trick. Again, I'm not a painter. I'm sure that someone who knows what they are doing could have made this look better. I ordered another 6 bottles, this time in black to hopefully hide my first round of work. I have no idea how this is going to turn out. But I can only hope for the best.My advise. Make sure you take the time to prep everything. I've seen videos where after a month, because prep wasn't done, it started to peel. I bought 2 cans of the u-pol primer, should have bought 3, and 3 cans of the u-pol adhesion promotor and did my best to get everywhere I couldn't fit a sander, wire wheel and sanding by hand.

Versatile and pretty durable!
Use this product frequently. Probably applied at least a few hundred gallons of this over the last 5 years. I really enjoy this material . it is not the same as rhino liner or it's direct bedliner competitors. To put it in plain terms I'd say this material is thinner, maybe 80% as durable but vastly more versatile, so it's a trade off..Raptor is Easy to mix and has long unmixed storage life. This product really shines when you have an existing intact paint job with no rust or bare metal showing. Just scuff with 120, clean and apply a few coats. It's a very durable product when installed properly. The few issues we've seen with this are mostly resulting from rusty surfaces. If you don't have the rust removed and properly primed, you will get a rust stain that eventually comes through even on black.. This material will not stick to ANY slick surface, so be sure to sand with 120 or rougher, but not so rough it cuts through the coating and down to bare metal. This material doesn't seem to block rust very well at all. Meaning if you sand blasted to bare metal and applied it, it will rust. You have to use at least a good Epoxy primer on any bare metal before coating with this. This stuff is versatile as well. You can spray it smooth like any other paint, or use the texture gun and get that cool textured bedliner look. You can even dial in the texture a little by playing with the air pressure. I usually shoot texture at about 60 psi but you can turn it up for a finer texture, or down for bigger globs. A nice feature is that you can wait till the next day to remove your masking without having a hard time to get it free unlike some other products. Holds up great outside. You can tint with urethane colorants. I've even used leftover uncatalyzed 2k urethane paint to add the color without any negative impacts to the coating. Just make sure you have a big enough cfm air compressor to power the texture gun. A little pancake compressor will not work great if you're doing anything with size. You only have about 25 minutes to get it on before it kicks, less if it's really hot out.
