Fuel pump assembly for 2016 Polaris sportsman 450
47-1002 Fuel pump assembly for 2016 Polaris sportsman 450 HO. I WOULD NOT recommend this fuel pump assembly. The fit was good however the pump only lasted for aprox 15 Hrs. symptoms was hard start when it did start it would not accelerate. Performed fuel pressure test and PSI was 30lbs and under accel it would drop lower and when turned off pressure would instantly drop to 0 psi. web site shows 1 year warranty. I purchased 6-23-23. when trying to file warranty claim there is a few trouble shooting suggestions from company on the web site, and they ask if this helped if you say no. they say contact company by email or phone and when you click on email it says page not found and when you click phone to get number nothing happens soI was not able to contact or talk to anybody about filing a claim, so it seems that to file a warranty claim. Orrequest a refund They don't have the information on the web site to do so. So in other words I'm out the cost of the pump assembly

Easy install
I bought this for my 2007 Polaris Ranger 700. The top plate was different from my set-up so I just put the new pump on my old housing and it fit perfectly. Started right up and is working well so far.

Great fit, pricing, and packaging
I was a little concerned that is was wrong because it was so much longer than OEM until I realized that it was not compressed at all. Once I compressed it, it went in smooth, whole process took less than 10 minutes on my 2012 Polaris Ranger 800XP. Started after the 3rd try and pumping the gas, after that it is running smooth, starts right up. I noticed that it is not so hard to get the machine moving without a bunch of pedal. Hope it lasts.

Pump didn't last 10 days of use! Don't buy!
I installed pump on May 9 2024, it worked great for 5 days ..then 5 days my UTV struggled and on day 10 it quit.. I was smart enough to buy 2 so I wasn't stranded on the trail.. but the 2nd one has been in for 2 days and is already failing! I am requesting a full refund from seller and will update once resolution has been made by the seller. STAY AWAY..SAVE YOUR MONEY!
