I bought this in Black Friday deal. Was unsure at first as previously had another carpet cleaner brand that rhymes with tax which cost a fortune and was seriously rubbish.Anyway got this as it was in sale and as I only have rugs to clean seemed a good idea.When it arrived I unpacked immediately, its a lot lighter than I thought, easy to put together tbh, didn't have lots to put together it was most done.I then filled it with warm water and solution and turned it on and OMG, it was amazing.I'd hoovered my deep pile rug a few times before with Shark thinking it was clean, well it really wasnt.The dirt and hair and grit this thing picked up was nothing short of breathtaking.The rug wasnt even that old but I have cats and a toddler and tbh it didn't look dirty but it so obviously was.This machine is not heavy to manouvre around or complicated. Press button on handle to spread solution and let go to suck it up. You'll see straight away the dirt collecting in the bottom tank. Its not noisy either.Honestly you'll be amazed at what this machine can do to your rugs. As it is a rug cleaner it goes through the solution quickly as only enough for a big rug but easy enough to refill if need be.Anyway rug has never looked or smelled cleaner and surprisingly it was touch dry too and completely dry in a few hours.The other well known brand soaked my carpet, was heavy and suction less.I'd totally recommend this over any other brand. I also bought the spot cleaner for the stairs and thats just as good too.Used it twice so far as my daughter spilled coffee in my light grey deep pile rug. I left it a few days as other stuff going on but it still all lifted and cleaned the rug spotless.Im delighted with this and as an added bonus its easy to clean afterward too.Although gross what a hoover leaves behind bleugh!!A wee miracle machine.

I have a Bissell spot cleaning machine and it’s fantastic so I have now bought the upright one. Very easy to use. Does a really good job at cleaning and fluffing back up the pile on carpets and rugs. The clean water does run out quickly but it’s easy and quick to refill. I would probably say the power button would be better higher up the machine. I have a disability which makes it difficult for me to reach the switch comfortably. Overall though smashing washer and a reasonable price.

A very compact and sturdy machine which is great for small areas.Cleans well,but better with a pre treatment for ground in staining.No leaks.Needs refilling when doing a larger area- best for small rooms. Recommended.

This carpet cleaner is exactly as described. Pros: It’s on the small side but perfect for my needs as I have arthritis in my hands so found my previous giant cleaner heavy and unwieldy. It’s easy to fill, empty and move around. As others have said, you have to refill and empty the tanks often - I did a dirty living area carpet with about 6 tank fulls. It seems sturdy and well made. My carpet came up beautifully and was hardly damp. Cons: the instructions are minimal diagrams but I found a great assembly and use video on YouTube. It’s very noisy so I wore earplugs. It’s thirsty on the cleaning fluid so don’t rely on the little bottle you get in the box, order extra when you buy it.

Far better than my old carpet washer that we tried to clean carpet with,I was wondering whether to take carpet up and get a new one,as it's I have had it over 12 years and has a few stains,but decided to buy the bissell,quite pleased as now the carpet looks like new,and easy to put together and carpet smells lovely again

I’m speechless! I don’t know where to even begin, I’m amazed at how quickly my carpets came back to life. From the first pull my carpets looked like new again. The bissell is surprisingly light and unlike the rug doctors you can hire, you can go back and forth like a hoover. My carpets were left damp and not soaking wet, 2 hours later they are practically dry again. Really easy to assemble and simple to use, it is loud but compared to a rug doctor I don’t think it’s as loud at that is. It’s simple to clean the brush afterwards, you just remove 5 screws and it pops right out so you can clean the hair it may have pulled up. For storing, the handle just pops off at the bottom and you can place down beside it in a cupboard if you need toThe only things I was disappointed about was the clean water with the carpet solution in got used up very quickly and the dirty water container can’t hold much so I was back and forth every 10 minutes to empty the dirty water or re fill the clean waterIt’s my first time using it so I just have to figure out how long to let the solution out compared to it being sucked back up but what I’ve noticed is you don’t need to go over the same spot loads for any stains to come out, after the first go over the stains gone if you don’t pull fastIt only takes a minute to refill the water or empty the dirty water so if that isn’t an issue for you then I 100% recommend. It also comes with a little bottle of carpet solution. It can take hot water but only to 60°c which is still pretty hot and will leave your carpets smelling nice

I couldn't wait to try out this cleaner. Wow! It is fantastic! So easy to fit together and operate. Not too noisy and at 70+ relieved that it is light to use. The difference in our very thick woolen rug is unbelievable. At first I panicked at what seemed like a lot of woollen clumps being left on the rug until I realized that only a little was actually wool and the rest was cat hairs from our very fluffy cat. This really surprised me as we hoover regularly. I next tried it on the very well-trodden patch from the dining room to the kitchen.....I was disgusted at the very dirty water but also very pleased at how much cleaner and revitalized the carpet looks. Next we will take out the furniture and clean the full dining room before tackling each room in the house. Although it was a bit fiddly to clean it wasn't really a problem. Well worth the money and I would thoroughly recommend.
