The quality is good , but silicone ring is very tight , I have to cut bigger hole to be able use it . It is tight even for hand , 100% will leave bruces marks on the skin. Update after 1 use : Broke from down!

Husband has a problem with a foot that is taped up and this item works perfectly to keep everything dry. I would recommend this item.

I bought this on my sister’s recommendation. She’s had foot and ankle surgeries and found this type of bag very useful for keep her dressings clean and dry. I also found it easy and effective. I recommend that you take the time to choose the correct size for your body part. I selected the below the knee lower leg bag because I’ve already lost nearly 3 inches of my original adult height at only age 64! The knee high version would have come way up over my knee. Especially when wet, I think any excess bulk becomes a slip or trip hazard.. So, take the time measure accurately. and order accordingly.I carefully towel-dried the outside and hung to dry thoroughly, being extremely careful not to rip the gasket material that makes it waterproof at your leg. I believe it will last through several showers, at least until my doc says it’s okay to get wet. if you should be so unlucky to face such a hassle., it might even last through two or more foot “events.” Be a pal, and don’t toss it out. You never know when family or friends might need it. You can be their hero!Yes, it seems pricey for a PVC bag, but very much worth the expense, even for thrifty me, tempted as I was to try a garbage bag with rubber bands and/or waterproof tape. I applied my first rule of defense against aging: if a onetime expense can resolve a problem for a reasonable cost, I don’t even think about it anymore. Just spend the money and save myself the DIY hassles.Note: it was a little tricky pulling the bulky dressing through gasket, which fits snugly against your leg, like a drum skin. My sister was waiting for an acquaintance to return her knee scooter/walker, so it was not available to me. To get one with insurance would require a minimum 2 days for pre approval, by which time I can do without it. What’s to approve? I had foot surgery, I can’t walk, what’s the problem? You can easily order one from amazon, but I didn’t want to spend $100+ on something my health insurance would cover if only I’d been thinking clearly enough to arrange it in advance. The cast protector was definitely large enough to fit over the cast and almost up over my knee. Warning for people with fiberglass casts - wrap a cling wrap around it to avoid damaging the sealing ring.
