Fantastic replacement cabin air filters for my Model 3.Combine with Klima Doktor to clean the air con unit, and any smells disappeared.Had them once before and they work great.Even better this time, as they now come with a Torx wrench and a plastic pry/bar to remove the trim.No other tools needed.

About the only service the Tesla needs on a regular basis is replacement of the cabin air filter. On the model 3 this is behind and below the centre counsel. A little tricky to get to from our side as pedals are slightly in the way. Watch a video or two to see how easy it is to access and swap. Only tricky part is replacement of one trip part that requires a fiddly up and over movement to replace. You can do it.

There's no possible way these can filter air efficiently - you can literally see through the "activated carbon" balls, so they have no chance of filtering air.

I used these along with some AC disinfecting foam which, together, eliminated the horrible smell that would come from the aircon whenever it rained.Installing them into a RHD Model 3 was a massive pain in the butt, but that has nothing to do with the filters themselves.

After fitting these I instantly could smell petrol and ICE fumes while driving the car. I'm not sure the activated carbon is doing anything at all. Seem to be worse at filtering the air than the stock Tesla ones.

Fairly easy to install… wish it only come with just the 2 top filter as the 2 in the bottom doesn’t really need to be changed that often!

These fit like a glove and work great. No more musty smell and easy to install.

Two of my Tesla model Y had smell issue on AC. It started within a year of the purchase. The internal filter had been changed twice after cleaning a condenser using chemical. But odor was still there. Recently, I've searched for the additional filters and that was the main problem for the AC odor. This filter is good fit, no noticeable difference on dimension from the genuine part. No noticeable difference on blowing. I am going to buy another set for another model Y. Comment: on my condenser cleaning, I did not see dirty fluid on the floor.

While the process of taking apart the Model 3 interior to get to the air filter location isn't too easy and requires patience, installing the air filters is literally sliding the old ones out and then sliding these new ones in. It is easy to know the direction to put them in because the attached red loops always face the right to be pulled when you need to replace these in time. I haven't noticed any strange smells and odors disappear when I turn on the air recirculation after encountering exhaust fumes while driving. Plus, the price isn't too different from Tesla's OEM filters that are not as good.
