Bic Cristal Original Ball Pens Medium Point (1.0 mm) - Black, Box of 150 [Amazon Exclusive]

Well, you aboslutely cannot go wrong with this classic pen. I've been using these since they first were sold in the late 1960's. Today one of these gems was accidently left in a pocket and washed in the washing machine. It survived in perfect condition and still writes as good as ever. Tough pen! Bics still are the best pen on the market. My only complaint is that they are no longer made in the USA.

I do love this original, reliable Bic pen. Sometimes I can find these for about 10 cents or 15 cents in local stores, but I ordered from Amazon because no one had them locally. However, there was no mention that every Bic pen would come with a gluey, sticky bar code label affixed. That makes writing very uncomfortable. 100 pens with bar code labels that I have to remove, is not what I thought I was paying for. I don't want to write with a pen that has a gluey sticky label. And this was from the BIC STORE ! What ? Do they think I am going to resell them? No, I am not going to resell them, I just want to write with them. I have wrist arthritis and just spent about and hour and a half removing 100 labels using Goo Gone. If that is your idea of fun, have at it ! Not my idea of fun. Really not happy about this. If I didn't need the pens immediately, I would have sent them back. Next time, I will send them back. See photos.

I purchased from pharmapacks. It came in a box secured. I was amazed how soon I received the pens. The pen writes nicely and comfortable to hold. I have issues with my hand. It would have been great except the pens were EACH tagged with a sticker that has to ne peeled off and open dumped in the bottom of the bag.

Bic basic pen works every time all the time.

Much better quality than look alike copies I've bought that kept breaking on me. They cost just a little more but now I can actually use it till it runs out of ink.

I have a very boring life but I counted the box of 50 that I bought and it turned out to be 43 pens. They should be more accurate with the counting, but I'm just kinda annoyed how I didn't get those 7 extra pens. But the good thing is, I've written a lot and I still haven't ran out of ink on these pens. Hopefully it'll continue like that.

I've always been a fan of BIC ballpoint pens. Maybe it's a throwback to my school days, when I used to wave them over a bunsen burner's flame during Chemistry lessons and bend the softened plastic into amusing shapes (except when I accidentally set them on fire). Sorry Mum, I got through far more pens than I should have done.However, along with their melting properties, they also happen to write particularly well. Where other brands can get scratchy with sticky ballpoints, leak or just not work at all, I always find BICs to be a reliable writing implement. That's not to say they're 100% reliable as they do occasionally fail, but it's a rare occurrence.At just 20 pence per pen this pack of 10 is a relative bargain. So far all the pens we've tried have worked, they write smoothly and consistently, and don't deposit blobs of ink at random.

...but, as in so may work environments, pens are always in short supply, especially good ones like the BIC brand. Having purchased or seen other pens being purchased, because they were "cheap", it never paid, as these were causing more problems than they were worth, from running out in the middle of that important memo during a phone call, to blotching your shirt with a nice black stain...Stick to what you know, and buy yourself a box of these, they'll last you ages, as long as you keep them chained down.

There's not a great deal to say about this product, after all it is just a ballpoint pen! Nonetheless, BIC's original pen still seems to hold up against others from different brands. It is comfortable to write with, the ink tends to last quite a while and it's just the right size to fit snuggly in most pen pockets. As a bonus, this pen comes in a multi-pack so you'll never be without one. Does what it says and what you want it to do. Good pen.

Usually my daughter gets through 1 - 2 Bic crystals a term at uni - not counting any that go missing. Since starting this box she's averaging 1 a week, yes she is working hard but she's really not doing the equivalent of six weeks work in one! As for being smudge free - that may be true on paper but they leak all over her fingers, there is ink on the table & I've even found some on the door - which is really hard to get rid of - I'm so not impressed with this pack - it really was a false economy as this box of 50 is lasting less time that our usual 10 pack! Also the pens in this pack do not carry the crystal branding as usually - just the standard Bic marking. Seriously I am not a happy bunny:(
