Much easier to keep clean than the original cast iron grate.

Bought this as I've gotten tired of seasoning the cast iron grate in my Akorn Jr. With cast iron, high temps burn off the oil...I like to have heat 600-700 degrees for searing steaks and making pizza on the grill so this is perfect for me. Grate is heavy duty and hasn't warped.

I put this in my storage building to keep it out of the weather. I purchased this for a backup. I took a look at it last week and the product rusted and I have never used it. I would say poor quality stainless steel.

Not what was advertised! Description says stainless steel, this is chrome-plated. Don’t waste your money!
