1/18 Latrax Rally direct fit
Perfectly fits a Latrax Rally without modification, but you will need two different screws, I reused some M2 hex screws that I had laying around for my 1/16 Revo.It doesn't feel much faster than the stock motor, though this could be because it has a terrible time getting traction with stock tires, however it doesn't get too hot running 2S lipo batteries and I haven't broken anything with it yet, so A+!Pros:Direct fit for Latrax 1/18 scale carsGood powerHasn't broken stock components yetFits stock pinion gearDoesn't overheatLipo cutoff(not tested)Itty bitty tiny little ESCCons:Engrish instructionsStock motor screws aren't the correct size or thread pitch(Meh)Nothing anywhere on this says "GoolRC", it looks like a cheap generic set(well....it kind of is.)No programming card, and it doesn't seem like you can program it with anything but one.ESC looks cheesy as a block of cheddar that's sitting on a block of Swiss, seriously, it's a circuit board with a heat sink glued onto it, it does work though.ESC and motor wires are not insulated with SiliconOverall, it's cheap, it works, it does what I ask of it and it takes Lipo'sI had to seriously nitpick for the cons, the only one that truly bothers me is no built in programming method and nothing states what programming card it needs if I ever want to change something around.

Works very well, runs cool on stock setup Teton.
I put this in my Latrax Teton. I also bought the programming card and set it to the lowest take off speed. It works very well so far. The motor plate does need the bottom holes enlarged just a hair for smooth motor adjustment.I had already geared from the original Pinion/Spur 10T/60T to a 14T/54T.Using the original NiMH battery and those gears, it is very quick. It gets the tires off of the rims.ESC max temp was 106F, Motor 128F. I changed out the gears to 22/50, metal from Integy. It flys! I do however need to adjust the take off speed with that gear setup. It needs more torque to get going.I will get temps for the current setup later and post them. I also have bigger wheels, and a lipo on order.

Good while it lasted
Installed on my son's LaTrax. And a issue with the first one, so swapped it out in a return (went very smooth and fast). Installed new one and ran good for the 3 times I got to run it. The input shaft on the motor broke and now I have to purchase a new setup.

Inconsistent What You'll Actually Receive. But Fundamentally A Good Product.
Based on pictures and reviews, there appear to be a couple different variants of this setup. The one I received had the capacitor mounted on pins rather than some of the pictures which either show no capacitor or what looks like a pair of capacitors mounted on wires and heatshrink wrapped. This is the one part that seems the most fragile, though would be easy to repair if the pins broke. But I'd certainly have preferred a version with the capacitors mounted on wires or no capacitor at all.It ships direct from China, but I found the shipping and delivery time to be quite prompt. Maybe a week at the most.I had to modify my motor plate to fit the motor. Was a simple dremel job. The widest holes are about 13.9mm inside-edge to inside-edge on this motor vs about 14.3mm inside-to-inside on the stock traxxas brushed motor. There are a lot more wires to wrangle than with the stock setup, and I'm a bit of a neat freak but I'm pretty happy with how I got everything lined up.Out of the box responsiveness seems quite good. Will probably pick up the programming card, but running with a 2S 2200mah traxxas iD battery, it works extremely well out of the box with the default configurations.

It’s a beast for $40 combo
I bought this to replace the La Trax Teton motor and ESC. It was a very easy and fun task. I didn’t need to do any modifications. It fit perfectly. Later after I ran it on a 2s lipo, it thrashed the plastic stock gears. Lol. I kinda figured it was going to. I don’t know what speeds I’m getting but it’s fast! Really fast. Doesn’t get hot. The cheap ESC does a great job. I would absolutely buy this for smaller rc motors. Again and again. I’ll try to upload some photos later.

DOES NOT SUPPORT 3S, weird throttle response, good for Latrax
One of my main goals with this was to try 3S in my heavily modified Latrax Rally. No-go.....the ESC just blinks red when plugged into 3S. I have the programmer, tried various low-voltage cutoff settings (including 0 volts), two different batteries at various states of charge, tried plugging in the programmer while running off 3S. This is a big bummer for me, will probably just have to order a different ESC. Product description needs to be updated for sure.Noticed another oddity. Near full throttle, the RPM "jumps". That is, throttle response is relatively smooth and linear up until just about max throttle. There is a clear and obvious jump in RPM. Not a big deal for bashing a Latrax, but I could imagine this causing issues for racers. On the plus side, when paired with a 20t pinion, my little Rally hit 25mph (stock with the 2S is around 20mph). That's a respectable increase, and there's still tons of torque. It subjectively seems to have more torque on the 20t than the stock brushed has on the 14t (I used to notice the brushed motor bogging down when turning hard). If you're happy with 2S (which, really, is about all the Latrax cars can handle without some serious re-engineering), then this is probably a good choice. It did slide in with no mods required, and the stock motor bolts mounted right up.

Great motor/esc combo for Losi Mini-T 2.0
I got this combo along with some 3s 1300mAh 30C packs to run my Losi Mini-T2.With all that and a new 23T pinion gear it runs great and is insanely fast and overpowered. I've had it out to some parking lots but still haven't had enough room to let it really go full throttle for more than a second or two. These 3s packs and 23T pinion are really too much for extended running and I'm always sure to check the motor temp and not run it too hard. I'm pretty sure backing back down to the stock 15T pinion would make it perfectly sustainable and it would still be real fast.
