Abreva is the absolute best treatment for cold sores that I've ever used. If you put it on immediately after symptoms begin, it may even stop the cold sore from progressing. If you still get a cold sore, it's been my experience that it minimizing the discomfort and shortens the duration.The Chapstick is highly moiturizing and feels great on my lips. Would recommend both products.

I had two cold sores on each side of my mouth . I decided to wait it out for them to heal naturally. After five days, it wasn't going away. I couldn't completely open my mouth wide without it being painful. Finally ordered this on the sixth day. Received it overnight . I used it 3 times on the first day, even though it said 5 times a day. Anyways ,my mouth was healing faster with this cream. On the second day, the scabs were falling off by itself. Now the redness is gone, it doesn't sting when I drink or eat acidic food.Very happy with this product.
