Love the seat. Heavy weight and sturdy. Dark color and almost looks brown, but it’s definitely what we were looking for.Would buy again!

It's circle
It's wood,heavy duty,and a beautiful color.In the picture ,it looked elongated but it's circle.So it didn't fit.

Burgandy Wood standard size round seat
WOW, it arrived so fast and I had to be the first to grace my new throne. My last one lasted over 10 yrs, I'm pretty sure. I found that one at a little shop that had linens etc, but when the color started to diminish, I never could find a replacement that was my price. I called places recently to finally find a replacement because I just couldn't take the scars of the years and everyone said I needed to come in and look in a special book and the price was a lot out of my range...lol Something told me to look on Amazon, because they sell everything else and I was amazed to find it. The price was real reasonable even if I went directly to Browns Linens website, because I checked. Soon as I get the chance to get another one, the same color, I will get an extra to have on hand because they are so hard to find. You have truly put a smile on my face as well as my bottom :)TY

The color works.
The seat is not the best quality. In fact, a screw broke within the first few days. We had an extra and it's holding up. Fingers crossed! We bought it for the color, which was the best match we could find. If you are looking for a high quality seat, this isn't it, but if you need the color, then this is your best bet.

Seat is pretty, but hinges will break
The color, finish, and quality was perfect and matched my bathroom perfectly. The problem is that the hold down nylon screws are maybe 1/4” in diameter and the porcelain toilet holes are @ 3/4”. If the manufacturer would use a cone shaped bottom fastener then the seat would stay centered and not slide all over. Since the supplied fastener nut was flat, the seat would move and fall off to the side frequently. This over taxed the hinge and eventually it snapped.The fix would be simple for the manufacturer and I would not have had to return this product.

What a great real wood toilet seat in a beautiful color for that price! Everything fits and works as expected, the paint is adorable and the plastic seems to be sturdy to me. Very happy customer. Everyone loves the new toilet seat, lol!
