Proto is welcomed here!
Since the mid 1970s I have used Challengers for all my twisting, torqueing, tying, wrapping, swiveling, ratcheting, driving needs. Alas, their manufacture ended in the late '90s. So, I step to Proto. Happily, AMZN hosts a generous supply of these professionals from which I continue to add to my hand tool collection. The recent arrived, thanks for the 2-day delivery!, J225G are great! Bending at a 90 degree angle, I snag everything with them without having to dig or uncomfortable wrist-twist. The "tips" appear thick but they grab even the most delicate surfaces. With these, and all Protos, I get the job done. Here they are welcomed!

worthless junk
I bought the Proto Brand because I assumed they would be high quality. The tips of the pliers do not even come close to contacting each other which makes these useless for handling small objects. Unbelievable.

This is a nice quality little pair of needle nose. Time will tell if they're durable, but so far, I personally have no complaints.

This is what you are getting. The product image is misleading.
One star off for finish and one star off for the wrong picture.The laser engraving is rough and this came in a plain white box. So its possible it's counterfeit but it is proto industrial so a plain white box is somewhat expected.The model number matches the description but the image does not. Which is very disappointing. I needed the one picture in the image.I'll keep these and hope they work for what it was intended to do. The ones pictured are the exact ones I needed. I've been using that style for almost 30 years.It's going to need oil. There is grinding grit in the joint. Even my knipex have that sometimes.
