Can't Go Wrong With ProGrade
I have been using Prograde cards for quite a few years now for photography and have had zero issues. I recently switched to using CFexpress type A and needed a reader, so did not hesitate with the ProGrade option. This is not an inexpensive card reader, but it is absolutely a professional piece of equipment. Having both CFexpress and SD slots is perfect for me because those are the two forms of memory that I shoot with. Overall build quality is excellent with a great sturdy feel and the built in magnet is awesome. You can attach it to your computer but I actually just magnetically attach it underneath my metal laptop stand to keep it safely out of the way. Import speeds have also been great so far using a MacBook Pro.

Excellent Product
This works well with UHS II SDHc/SDXC memory cards which have large files especially RAW and TIFF files.

Well built, love the magnetic base, and super fast (with quality cables)
Using a quality USB-C to USB-C cable, this gets read speeds that max out the read rates on my CFExpress and UHS-3 SD cards. Using a cheap USB-C to USB-A cable it is about 1/4 the max speed - so use a quality cable!

90/160 MB/s Write/Read Over USB 3.0
The headline says it all. I bought this for speed. On USB 3.0 and reading/writing to an SK Hynix Gold S31 SATA Gen3 2.5 inch Internal SSD (1 TB capacity). I get sustained write speed of 90 MB/s and a sustained read speed of 160 MB/s. On average, I can read about 10 Gbytes per minute from a SanDisk Extreme Pro V30 128GB SD card. The card says it will do 170 MB/s, so I was hoping to get a little closer to the stated maximum, but I'll take 160 MB/s any day! Maybe this is only with USB 3.2?Overall, I'm satisfied with this card reader. It is the fastest reader I have to date, and this is important for working with large (10s of gigabytes per file) video files from my video camera.I like the magnetic mount for the side of my PC case. If you have magnetic storage (really? ok, maybe on a NAS or something), this might not be the option you want. The bottom is padded so, if you do use the magnetic mount, it will not scratch the PC case. I am using the magnetic mount, and it is strong enough to hold the reader while I insert and remove storage cards.

Fast, I mean really fast but it gets hot - I mean really hot - to the touch
Value: I thought this was expensive but it was one of the only Type A and SDXC readers I could find - most are Type B. EXTREMELY FAST. My other reader gets hot, but this one gets really hot. I am going to find a piece of metal for the magnet and use it as a heat sync.Easy to Use: Each media type was automatically assigned a drive letter by Windows 11. Each type can only fit in one of the slots - but I don't think I give the reader credit for that feature.Would I buy again? Did I mention it was fast? Yes. Minus one star for heat and price.

Excellent project
I’ve had this card reader for almost two years now. I use it on my Windows 11 laptop and an iPad. I travel all over, and take it where I go with my camera. It has worked perfectly so far.Very portable, fast read speeds on both devices.

Best Card Reader
The magnet. This seems like an odd hook, but for me it immediately clicked. I am a full time photographer living and creating from my van with a minimal workstation. Card readers sliding off my lap board has been a regular occurrence over the past three years. It works amazing.I didn't expect anything difference on performance from any other card reader I have used. This card reader is fast.Between the magnet and speed this is my card reader going forward.

ProGrade Digital CFexpress Type A Card reader
Very good price compare to Sony CFexpres card reader, but. After a day regular use the SD section of the card reader stop to read the cards.Only the CFexpress A section is working.I wait several weeks until the product arrived now I have to waste my time to return the defective product back to Amazon.I just ordered the Sony CFexpress card reader with double the price of this one, but I need a functioning card reader. It is very annoying.
