How heavy is the knife itself and how tall is the blade profile

Blade is 8 inches long. Mine weighs 6.3 oz. (not "0.6" pounds as indicated in the specs).

Is this a right handed knife?

No. It's ambidextrous. 1) the handle isn't right-handed like some Shun knives w/ the D-shaped handle. 2) the blade is taped the same on both sides, as is the blade edge--i.e., as best as I can determine, not having the right tools available to me these days. No one side of the blade is flat or concave. 3) Also, the is thin compared to western-style chef's knives.
