Well made for the price.
The clamp itself is very robust. The wood appears to be maple. As long as you avoid cutting into it, it should last for a long time.I was surprised at the quality of the clamp. Thick steel, and a heavy duty threaded post.

It looks good and comes in very handy, the only thing I think it need something for the piece that holds it on the Bench it has a tendency to move around and fall.

Although the wooden shape is well formed, the clamp doesn't fit my jeweler's wooden work bench. I wish that the clamp could be adjusted smaller to accommodate different sized benches.

They Didn't Learn!
The clamp was broken when I opened the box. The cheap cellophane wrapping was all torn up and the clamp pad and screw were rattling around in the box.The bigger issue was the clamp does not fit through the hole. The hole is shy about 3/32". A previous customer review in June of 2023 described the exact same issue. Guess they did not read it or care but certainly did not fix it.Their quality control is terrible which is evidenced by their sending out product in these conditions. I returned it immediately as I was not going to do their job for them and fix it.
