Refresh Rate Fixed
Fixed my lag on my monitor. My regular HDMI had a low refresh rate, DP to USB C fixed the issue. HDMI was 30 hertz refresh and this cord has it up to 60 hertz. Huge difference for me.

Very good
Works as advertised. I may be lucky-it has strict technical requirements in order to be compatible. Lenovo P52 had correct type C ports for both power and display. A used -older- monitor I wanted to add had display port input. Bought cable - had to google issue with one display on HDMI booting the other off and vice versa. Needed to recognize an additional thunderbolt port on laptop was available, though it appeared to be grouped with something else. Once I realized that might be my extra thunderbolt port, that solved the issue. (Power port could send display signal but was not compatible with the other extra monitor being used.) Another item I purchased - a docking station - may be useful but is not needed for now, as I originally thought.

Works with Mac Studio M2 and Benq Monitor (Displayport Port)
FINALLY! Talked to Benq support and they told me I needed a HDMI cable to connect to the Mac Studio M2. I did that and the monitor kept blacking out every 5-10 minutes. You are in the middle of doing something and then you can't see anything. Then I tried a DisplayPort to HDMI cable and that permanently blacked out after 5 seconds and would not refresh the screen. So, I decided to try this cable DisplayPort to Thunderbolt and my issue was fixed. So, if you have a monitor with a Display Port (or Benq Monitor) to a Mac Studio M2 this is the cable you want.

Mac pushing external 35 inch 2k monitor - old cable flickering - this cable zero issues!
Mac's are very picky with cables and I used a cable that came with the monitor which caused a lot of flicking. I did lots of research on new cables and bought this one and solved the problem with the old cable entirely. Highly recommend this - especially those with MacBooks.

Perfect cord for Macbook Pro to Ultrawide Monitor
This is your solution to hooking a macbook pro to an ultrawide monitor. I was having problems with HDMI cords to my display where the resolution of my screen was not populating as an option and the color of the screen was yellowish. I got this cord to try and it is the solution, my screen now is full resolution and no problems with my macbook being closed and displaying on my monitor

Supports 60Hz on my 4k monitor where HDMI did not
This works very well and gets me 60Hz on my 4k monitor. The HDMI port on my older Dell laptop only supported 30Hz. It has been working very well. You have to be sure you have DisplayPort on your USB-C port.
