My Blackmagic production switcher was unable to isolate camera audio for my Aux outputs to my 4x2 3Play Instant replay system. The SDI splitter work perfectly to get my camera feeds to my replay system and production switcher. A great buy and way cheaper than buying a video production router.

J-Tech Digital Customer Support team is always ready to help with any technical support you may need, even if you don't know what you're doing. Highly recommended!6/3/17 - My original review was inaccurate, I've since verified that all 4 outputs work great. When I experienced my initial display problem, about an hour later I had an SDI to HDMI Converter intermittently start to fail on me. At the time I had no evidence to show that both problems were related to the Converter. My apologies to the seller and my thanks for his support.6/1/17 - Quick response from the seller to support any issues. Currently working with the seller to verify that the splitter is in fact the cause of my problem or not. I will update this review once this is confirmed.5/30/17 - Out of the box the #3 Output distorted the color of the image to drastic to fix with the TV color adjustments. Switching the cable to the #4 Output resolved the issue. I'll be replacing this item for another to give it another chance.

Completely unreliable. Worked well for 2 days, then our video sources started flickering the image. We replaced the jtech distro with a major brand, and it solved the problem. I'm returning all the jtech stuff I just recently bought.

Works well with BlackMagic Video HUB output to EPSON Projectors, more than 100 FT Away over SDI. We have multiple SDI inputs to a BlackMagic 40Gx40G Video Hub, and multiple outputs, of which 1 we split by 2 or 4, EPSON projectors based on use case. We have had great success with this vendors other spliters for HDMI, now using their SDI spliter. Not everything will work with BlackMagic, this does!

I rarely write reviews, but my interactions with J-Tech Digital deserve special recognition. I ordered 3 of these units based on 1) functionality, 2) form factor, and 3) price (the least important factor). The items that I received did not match the form factor shown in the Amazon listing, and were too large to fit in the space available in my application. I emailed J-Tech about it and received a reply very quickly, and a resolution to my predicament shortly thereafter. They quickly shipped out 3 of the units that had the size listed, and sent me a pre-paid return shipping label to send back the original items.The fact that the original items didn't match the description in the listing is certainly a demerit and may rightfully be viewed as an oversight by the company, but it isn't an uncommon thing for this type of product from other sources as I've sadly found out of late. But the speed and professionalism of the customer service to remedy the issue has been nothing but superb. Yes, the item didn't match the description, but people (including me and everyone reading this) make mistakes despite the best of intentions. It's how the mistakes are handled that separates the good from the bad and I am here to tell you, the J-Tech people are good.

We recently went to SDI for our remote monitors as we need to run them at up to 50 feet distant, and HDMI cables that can manage that are expensive and unwieldy. This lets me take the feed from an AJA converter and split it to our stand-up monitors with no problem at all, other than the front panel switch being a bit too easy to accidentally turn off.Set it and forget it, just the way I like it.

I am using this to distribute SDI to multiple TVs and projectors at my church. It is working great so far, never had a single issue even on the longest run which is about 150' roughly. Glad I picked this instead of a more expensive version.

Works great. I'm using it as an SDI amplifier/reclocker at the receiving end of a 300' run of RG59 cable.At 1080i, I just couldn't quite get a stable signal with the 300 foot run that I needed in order to reach a classroom. But while fooling around with various pieces of gear in my parts bin, I discovered that if I put this splitter at the far end of the run, it cleans up the signal and I get perfect image on the TV at the far end. Without this, I didn't know how I was going to get video to the classroom, as the UTP balun I tried just failed completely.So I give this 5 stars for saving my hind end.
