These heads have a nice, low end sound. I used pinstripes for while as my batter heads, and I didn't love the sound. They were really all about attack, and not tone. You had to tighten the head a lot to get tone out of the head. These heads have a good balance between attack and tone. I use ambassadors as resonant heads, because the combination works really well. I now have toms that have a low end with good attack. I love these heads.

Best tom heads at a great price.
My favorite for toms. Excellent clarity and stick definition. The pack makes them priced really well.
