DEWALT Tool Tote with Removable Power Tool Case, 24-Inch (DWST24070)

TL;DR It's a durable, spacious, convenient mid sized tool tote and great for the price. No complaints.I work in new construction as a plumber. I was tired of digging through my Husky tool backpack setup. I would have to unzip, dig through the bottom just to find my tape measure or bits or what have you.I looked around quite a bit for an open-faced style tray like this, but couldn't find anything suitable. My other challenge was getting it to fit inside my locking storage bin on the work truck so I could leave my things locked up at night instead of having to lug my tools home every night.This tote is durable, spacious and seems to be high quality. The bottom tote portion fits all my hand tools (quite a bit like hammer, levels, two tapes, 3 crimp tools, a battery charger, square and room for a good bit more).The top case portion holds my impact with a battery on it, a 5 amp battery, a Dewalt bit set case, and a single bay battery charger perfectly. The fact that it snaps to the top and disconnects with one hand makes it super convenient and a breeze to use.The handle is a little on the large side, but is very sturdy and sort of slides into a locked position while carrying it so you don't have to work about the tote spilling or tipping.If you're on the fence about this thing, I say just give it a try. I love it. Especially if you're in a trade where you have many tools to bring in and out of a job site everyday. So convenient and nice. Another plus is all my tools are Dewalt so it matches 😎.

This is y second dewalt box og this kind, top fits both my impact drill and standard brushless drills it battery attached, and also has roo around them Tortorella other batteries, bottom holds alot more tools. Very strong handle.... this box did not come with the dewalt logo sticker on the top like my first one did but still same quality

I purchased to store my Dewalt tools in one box. It’s certainly large enough for a drill, impact drill, reciprocating saw and it an oscillating tool. There’s also a small compartment inside for drill bits. I like how the top detaches, but not certain how long the metal closures will last on the hard plastic catches. I guess time will tell, but so far okay. My only issue is once filling with tools, it’s quite heavy to carry around. For me this is best for storage but not for constantly carrying place to place.

I love this thing, it's big and sturdy and not expensive. You should know though that it in no way nests with the T-STAK system, and it's got a big old yellow handle for the smaller compartment that sticks out. Not a square profile with that jutting out. HOWEVER: unlike one review I read, the compartments separate easily with the push of a button - I think the guy who was having problems was trying to pull it. Overall this is a sweet chunky toolbox.

Durable

I own fourteen of these that I've purchased over the years to make tool "kits". As in, one tote may contain the battery-operated tools and accessories while another contains the batteries and chargers. I also have kits for plumbing tools and supplies, drywall tools and supplies, general hand tools, etc.To ensure I don't mix up the separate tops with bottoms, I installed small hinges on the back of each set - the top section hinges up out of the way to access the tools/supplies in the bottom section.The only negative is that the front of the tote sections are textured, so applying an adhesive label doesn't guarantee that the label will stay in place with use and age.
