You can find These batteries by other manufacturers and with paper wrappings also there are many options and there are also cheaper ones out there but you pay for what you get especially with this Type of battery. When you're going through all the effort of taking your battery packs apart and doing all the Preparation all the soldering all the work that goes into rebuilding these batteries you do not want to buy a battery that's not going to last So again in this case you pay for what you get do it once do it right and they will last for a very long time especially for your favorite tools that have a lot of battery packs.
