So there are a lot of negative reviews about this and I kind of understand why because my experience was perfect but only because I had a best case scenario (pun intended)I use a magnetic magsafe like car mount. It included metal rings to attach to the phone or case but it wouldn't work through my 0.3mm ultraslim case for my 200g OnePlus 7 Pro.So I thought this magnet ring product might do the job which I'm happy to say it does. It places on the mount easily and comes off a little too easily but has not yet fallen off during driving.My advice to anyone buying these, don't expect them to work through any thicker cases than mine 0.3mm. And also don't bother if your intention is for the magnet ring to attach to anything metal and stay if you are placing under a case. If it's on the outside of the case or on the bare phone it would work but wouldn't look the best and I wouldn't trust the adhesive to keep the little magnets there.In conclusion, if you have a magnet ring or mount and want to use this product under a very slim case with a phone under 200g then go for it.

This has double-sided tape on BOTH sides of the magnets.This means you can't attach it to a qi charger (to make it MagSafe compatible) and you can't put it inside a case because it will stick to the phone and the case, unless you leave one of the blue plastic guards in place.

While these “magnets” are a good idea overall, they’re easy to fit and don’t look terrible with a clear case, I can’t help but notice the magnet strength is rather poor. Don’t even dream of using these magnets on a magnetic car holder, you’ve got more chance of getting a marble to stay in place on your steering wheel whilst off-roaring than getting your phone to stay on the holder with this magnet. Otherwise, they’re ok... 🤷🏻‍♂️

Bought these as I own a Poco X6 Pro that I wanted a MagSafe enabled case for (no wireless charging so only for mounting however). I made a mock up of a 3d model for a case with cutouts for these magnets, printed it in TPU and installed these magnets afterwards. These magnets hold strong, even through the TPU case, and were easy enough to install. Plenty strong enough to hold the phone in my MagSafe car mount, even over rough bumps. Due to the double sided adhesive, you’ll need to stick something to the other side to prevent the adhesive from sticking to the phone or anything else.

This does absolutely nothing and provides no extra magnetism than the MagSafe already does (I got this to put on my case so the magnet of MagSafe would work through the case). It honestly does nothing but I can’t send it back for a refund because it’s already stuck down.

May be a bit of DIY project depending on the application. Installing on the inside of case would be easy if you keep 1 side of protective film on, but since both sides have adhesive if film is removed adhesive would have to be scraped off which is doable, but some DIY experience would definitely help.Magnets are thin and strong enough to hold Pixel 6 on a car holder over speed bumps and potholes.Magnets have adhesive on both sides and proper orientation must be kept, otherwise it won't work.If placing on the inside of the case, remove the larger piece of protective film, on the outside - smaller.

The magnets are sticky both sides so I stuck them to my phone and when I used them the magnets came off. They aren't very strong and won't work through my see through caseI couldn't recommend them

Quite strong magnets, using on Galaxy S21 Ultra for a magsafe airvent mount. I'm using with a spigen clear case, otherwise it is too strong without a case and pulls the whole mount with it. I always have a case on so it's not an issue for me. This isn't advertised for this purpose anyway, as it's probably meant to be placed inside a supported iPhone as a replacement part, but it's more than enough for me. Just to note, both sides have adhesive, so if you want to stick it to the back of your phone, rub off the exposed side with alclhol thoroughly before you put your phone down on a surface or the case back on.

I bought one of those '2-part' cases where the phone fits into a rubber case, and a hard shell kind of sits overtop to keep it all together. It works well for me, but the hard shell is very very thin, so the magnet doesn't have to go through a lot to work. I don't think these are strong enough if you have a case that isn't very thin. They certainly work better than those plain thin metal rings though.

This is one of the few options that do what I needed.I wanted to convert a plain every day hard sided card holder/wallet, into a magsafe one that would attach to the back of the phone.The problem is, almost everything on the market is for making your phone work with magsafe accessories, not making something else into a magsafe accessory. The magnet polarity is the opposite direction, and you need the sticky part on the opposite side of the magnet.This has sticky stuff on BOTH sides of the magnet.The important detail is, the sticky stuff is easily removable from the side you don't want to be sticky. You don't need to leave the blue film on.It is a super thin, double-sided sticky tape. After applying the side you want to an object, you just stick something pointy between two magnets and slowly lift. You will see the side you don't want sticky, start to lift the clear sticky tape. Work it all off all the way around, wipe it down, and you are done.Love it.
