Samsonite Midtown

Bought this backpack for work as I didn't want anything too big but still needed to hold my 16" Macbook Pro. Even though it says it holds 15.6" laptops, it will comfortably fit a 16" and will not impeded the bag from closing correctly. The bag has a very nice finish, it's stylish without being too in your face with branding and a million compartments that you don't need. Have been using it for a few months now and it has proven to be quite durable when using it to carry my work equipment and gym/swimming gear. Quite comfortable to wear and the straps look very secure and I don't they will tear/get worn very quickly. As it's a Samsonite bag, I will also be using it for travelling too, so double win! If I had to think of one negative, it would be that on occasion, the zipper does get caught on the material that covers the zips which can be annoying as it takes a few attempts to undo.

This thing is well built, roomy, and takes all the swinging around I give it when it's packing weight.

I wasn’t aware about the brand Samsonite and was surprised about the price. I have the backpack roughly 6-7 months now, very nice quality, enough pockets, all zips are quality and the texture of the bag feels great. You can easily adjust the straps so it’s comfortable for everyone. I use the bag for work and travel and never let me down, get one too.

Picked up a used very good from the warehouse for £52, just not in original packaging. It’s perfect on first inspection. Plenty of room, excellent padded protection. I expect Samsonite longevity so hopefully it lives up to its name.Edit: Bottle holder is tiny, will fit a 500m bottle but not a large refill. In proportion to the size of the bag all the same.The zips are very accessible, I won’t be putting into anything into the front pockets. Could easily be opened from behind without noticing.Still very happy overall.

I bought this for my daughter starting secondary school and it’s perfect. It’s sturdy, great size and the handles are very comfortable for her to carry. It looks great too.

I found the return process has left me out of pocket as I needed to purchase wrapping and tape suitable for the bag/case to travel to Germany via UPS. The labelling instructions are not very clear. I needed two copies of the commercial invoice or UPS wouldn't take it. The nearest UPS is 9 miles away so I needed to do two trips to print off another form, so in all spent 32 miles of fuel too.

Die Tasche macht einen sehr hochwertigen Eindruck und scheint gut verarbeitet zu sein. Stabile Reißverschlüsse. Ich hoffe sie hält länger durch als das Reisegepäck von V***e.Nachtrag: 3 Wochen Costa Rica, bin begeistert, es passt sehr viel rein, sogar die hohen Wanderschuhe waren dabei. Der Koffer ist kein einziges Mal gekippt.Leicht gängige Rollen, sehr leicht im Gewicht. Durch die vielen Griffe sehr leicht im Auto zu verstauen.

La he comprado para regalar a mi novio en navidad, que es profesor y por ello siempre va con el portátil, la tablet y los libros y cuadernos a cuestas. Le cogí este modelo porque es un estilo más "informal" que las Samsonite rígidas.La mochila se ve de lejos que es de calidad (y por ello, más cara que la media). Es perfecta para ir y venir del trabajo en metro, en mi opinión. Las cremalleras, las correas,los acabados.... todo muy bien. Tiene bolsillos y compartimentos por todas partes, y en uno de la parte de abajo trae una funda por si llueve. Además le puedes aumentar la capacidad porque es expandible.
