Minty, tingly and great for your face
I bought this for two reasons: 1. I’m trying to be more conscious of the ingredients in the products I use on my body and 2. I had some eczema on my face that the other beauty items I owned weren’t effectively treating.Initial thoughts:The bar looks just as it’s pictured; a bit exotic, appearing sort of a marbled green and white color. It has a very pleasant minty aroma.Usage and resultsUpon application, you get a rush of the peppermint and tea tree aromas accompanied by a pleasant tingling sensation. I’ve used this bar a little under a week now and the results are incredibly good! Not only are the eczema patches nearly gone, but my face feels far more moisturized than the usual dried out feeling I get with regular soap and that has everything to do with the quality ingredients.ConclusionIf you’ve got eczema, this soap is for you. This is my new go-to face soap!

Great soap.
I love that this company uses decomposa le packaging. It cleans well. The scent is okay but thats not why I really bought it. If it's anything like the shampoo bar, it will stay in the soap bin.

5 Dermatologists Could Not Help Me. This Soap Did.
I rarely, if ever, write reviews. I'm a 56-year-old male who basically had beautiful skin all through my 20s, 30s, and most of my 40s. In my late 40s, I started to notice red welts on my face and on parts of my neck. I thought they were rosacea, as I had battled that for quite a while (as it's chronic, as most are aware). These welts, or blotches, we're not whiteheads; they were red and protruded slightly. And they occasionally itched, although not always. But when they *did* itch, the itching was unbearable, and this led to scratching (especially in the wee hours of the night). Scratching one's face, of course, is never a good thing.I was miserable. I tried everything: antibiotics, topicals (too many to name), different soaps, etc. I bounced back and forth from a traditional razor blade to an electric razor. Nothing worked.A few months ago, a friend, who happened to be a dermatologist (and one of the original five who'd tried, but was unable, to help me find a cure) suggested Acnomel, a topical to be used only in spots (and not slathered all over an entire area indiscriminately). It helped, but I needed more; this was a reactive remedy. I needed something preventive to pair with the Acnomel.Via my own research, I came upon reviews for The Yellow Bird Peppermint Tea Tree Soap. I bought one bar. I was hopeful, but not too much so as I'd been disappointed many times before. I tried the soap when it arrived, and immediately felt a freshness on my face I'd never felt before. This was still not convincing, because several other remedies had worked briefly in the past, only to flame out as the welts (which, I failed to mention, were finally unanimously diagnosed as folliculitis) would return in 2-3 weeks. But something was different this time. My skin cleared up. I rarely needed the Acnomel. And not only did my skin clear up, but it looked radiant, healthy, and totally natural. I am not a sun worshipper so when my skin is healthy, it looks like a 20-year-old's. I was back to my old self. And with almost two months having passed, that's a fair amount of time to be able to say with confidence that this soap is the primary reason why I have *finally* defeated folliculitis. Of course, I must stay at it because it can always return, so I have purchased ten additional bars, and will keep purchasing more.I am astonished at my results. No professional was able to help (all were wonderful doctors, really nice people, and individuals who really cared and wanted to help me in the worst way!). But in the end, it's this soap that has changed my life. Literally changed my life! I feel and look great.Highly, highly recommended!!!

It is a very good soap other than that
First of all I didn't need a $10 bar of soap but after reading reviews thought it was a luxury worth trying especially if it moisturized. It does do that but where it misses is size and lubricity. Even wet it would stick to my skin. And it evaporates quickly. I'd say it was small enough that it will only last the week. It is a very good soap other than that.5 stars for smell2 for size/evaporation2 for lubricity1 for value even though it was a luxury purchase5 for that fresh clean feeling after.Average 3If this was $4-5 per bar I would probably keep buying it unfortunately it is not.

I love this soap
I love this soap. I have extremely dry skin that is also very physically and chemically sensitive and prone to breakouts. Use the wrong skin product? Breakout. Don't take my makeup off before bed just one time? Breakout the next day. It's exhausting. Then I found this soap, and I love it!I use it on my face body, since I can be prone to skin problems anywhere. My skin felt soft after one use, and stubborn breakouts began to clear after about a week. It leaves my skin feeling clean but not tight. The bar lathers up easily and has a nice creamy texture, and bar soap is perfect for easy travel. Everything about it is great. I even love the tea tree and peppermint scent, it makes me feel like I'm in the sauna at a fancy spa. The scent fades and doesn't linger on my skin, but if you hate the scent of tea tree oil then you will probably hate this.My ONLY complaint is that the bar seems to be dwindling rather quickly, but I do use it on both my face and body so that isn't entirely unexpected. Still well worth buying and a five star product.
