Hobby Boss CH-46D scale 1/72
The Hobby Boss version of the CH-46D is good but not very detailed as the other model brands, but for the price it is OK.

Husband loved it as a fun activity to create something he knew about when he served.

It's not green
Good service and reasonably priced, but the photo on the box shows a green CH 46. The model in the box is grey. Having flown this aircraft, I know when they roll off the production line at Boeing, they are green. Never saw a grey one in the Marine Corps. Guess I will have to spray paint it.

Color
The color on the box shows the model as Marine green, but it is molded in grey so having to paint the entire model the correct color is required.

This was one of the worst models I've ever put together
This was one of the worst models I've ever put together. Just the main seam alone would have taken a lot of sanding, putty and forming just to get it smooth...finally had to call it quits and order from a different manufacturer. And I had read that Hobby Boss was #1 with this model...
