LUCKEASY Front Shading Net for Tesla Model X Glass Roof Sunshade Car Skylight Blind Shading Net (MX-GA33L A)

Living in the western states and driving a car with expansive glass areas it's a must to have good sun protection. A good sun visor and sun shades are essential to keep the sun from overheating your skin even though the windows are tinted. This shade is well made with a black opaque material. It still lets the light in but keeps the harmful rays out. It literally took all of 3 minutes to snap it into place without damaging the interior headliner of the car. For the cooler months, it is easy to take out to experience the expansive views of the car. Luckily it also folds up for easy storage. I keep it in my trunk where it won't get misplaced and be ready any time I feel the need to have it back on. I love the expansive views the new cars with the larger glass areas afford, but sometimes you just have to have some shade, and this shade meets that need perfectly.

I was so excited to find this product. Personally I think that the extremely large windshield in the model x is a dumb idea. Don't get me wrong...staring up at the sky as a passenger can be very tranquil, but when you are driving in the morning hours and the sun is blasting into your face...well frankly it kind of sucks. Oh, and those flimsy sun visors that tesla gives you are just laughable as they do nothing to help when the sun is shining above the few inches of the windshield that they cover. This shading net helps, but the design isn't perfect. It installs easy enough, but only stays up when the aforementioned flimsy sun visors are on the side of the windows. If you actually need to use the sun visors when the sun dips below this shield, this shield falls down when you move the visor to the forward position. I have already ordered some suction cups that should attach to the bottom of this shield to hold it up, so i am hoping that it will resolve this problem.

**UPDATE** I’ve been using this sun shade for 11 months now and I love how easy it is to fold up and stuff between the passenger seat and console when I don’t want it, and it’s so quick to unfold and install when the sun comes back out. Unfortunately when I unfold it, sometimes of the clips falls off. I can usually find it, but recently I lost it for good. I reached out to the seller to see about getting a replacement clip and they went above and beyond to help me out. Not only did they send me a bag of 6 replacement clips but they did it at no extra charge. Great customer service and great product.It does the job. I just wish it came with more clips. It only came with 3 clips, & I didn’t see any instructions anywhere. I used one clip on each side and one near the center. I wish it came with at least one more clip so I could have two on the long side.Also be careful opening it- it is just shipped wrapped in paper & packaging tape, and my husband nearly cut the shade trying to cut the packaging open.

This screen does fit the refreshed X for the most part. However, it’s definitely not a clean fit. Someof the corners don’t line up, and the fabric buckles on the side and front. There were no plastic clips along the edges like some of the OEM shades so you basically just have to jam it in against the trim and hope for the best. Despite many attempts at finding the perfect position, it has fallen down on my head while driving about every other day. Luckily it hasn’t caused a dangerous situation YET, but needless to say I’ll be throwing this in the trash as soon as I get tint installed or Tesla releases their own version.

Wow! This thing really keeps out the sun. I live in south Florida where the temperature on a cool day is the third circle of hell and most days, we’re living in Dante’s Inferno. I am wildly impressed with how effective this thing is at blocking sunlight and keeping the car at a comfortable temp. I don’t plan on taking it down repeatedly so not worried about the clips falling off during removal but even so, the clips feel pretty sturdy. This does not have a cut out for the mirror but that doesn’t seem to impact the fit very much, so 5/5 for this shade!

I really like it when charging - when driving down the road it takes the spacious windshield away and feels almost claustrophobic. It helps with heat though, I'm in AZ. Does it work - yep, just like a tinted mesh screen and it is nice.The Pros:- Nice appearance- Rigid frame- Clip design is good approachCons:- Hard/difficult to install- Don't remove and reinstall - the metal frame will get a memory and I have a bend above me in the center of the car (rear of shade) and it sticks so far away a clip will not hold it.- Clips are easy to lose or fall off- Front of shade relies on window shades - can't use them for sides when driving and shade is up or flip them down.

Perfectly fit for my 2017 Tesla X. I hope it will protect from the heat

Have to struggle to fit in 2023 Model X. Has very rigid frame that can damage car interior if not handled properly
