Good quality
Good quality, slightly disappointed by the motion detection range which is significantly shorter than our old halogen spotlight. It’s fitted above first floor window level and I don’t think the range is as much as 10m as I have to be practically below the light to get picked up.

Ledvance 50W - A good light but failed after 3 yrs
Although rated to IP65 (ie can take a light jet of [tap?] water) the rear Aluminium housing corroded from under the black paint - I guess the paint is porous. I haven't yet done a failure analysis but I suspect water/moisture has got in to the circuitry. The failure indications were greatly reduced light output plus a number of the vertical LED bars failed or partially failed. I have replaced the light with the same type.Edit: IP65 doesn't take in to account long term corrosion caused by, say, acid rain. So, IMO, IP65 devices are not suited for permanent installation outside exposed to the elements. What is really required is something like MIL-STD-810 environmental approval ...but that will push the price up by x10 or more.
