we got this and it was a fun easy and enjoyable toy set the play mat/field was good it was wrinkly the line men were harder to set up (being that they only have the three "supporters" not evenly distributed for weight)the goal posts are definitely a little flimsy and the little latch was definitely hard to keep closed and that's about it it it is a good product overall

Last October I allowed my then 6 year old to spend his birthday money on this toy. I was extremely hesitant to allow him to spend his own money on this & even tried to talk him out of it. I like to allow my kids to make their own choices when it comes to money that was intended as a gift to them, but then on the other hand, I didn’t want to let my 6 year old spend 20 something dollars on some army guys & a piece of felt. But I let him & I am so glad that I did. This little toy has been played with every single day since it was purchased. Every day. Yes it’s basically army (football) guys & some felt but if your kids have a big imagination, it will keep them occupied for hours. I never in a million years thought this was would be a toy that gets used daily, but I was wrong. It even gets used multiple times a day. Not one of figures (football or referees) or the field goal posts have gotten broke (& my kids are rough on toys), & the field has held up really well too. Some days they use the guys that came with it, other days they use different “guys.” Tonight all the figures are in the box they came in (another plus) in their bedroom & they are sleeping so I attached a picture of the field with the toys they were using tonight. These toys & the car in the picture don’t come with the set. Definitely one of the best toy purchases ever made in this house & other kids that come over really enjoy it too.

These are such great toys for a boy who loves sports. It's hard to find sports toys in stores that aren't associated with specific teams. My son had been asking for football men with a field but we couldn't find any until we came across these. He's had them (we also got Baseball Guys and Basketball Guys) for about 2 months and still plays with all of them daily. I do think they're a little pricey (I think they should be more like $15-$20) since they're basically just army men (a little bigger and heavier) with a felt field and thin plastic goals. However since they're the only toys like this on the market they can sell them for a little more! I have seen some reviews that they don't stand up very well and tip over easily - we haven't had that problem. I did see someone answer a question and said you can dip the bottom in boiling water for a few seconds and reshape them if they don't stand up well. The carrying box is great and is plenty big enough that a child can fit the field and mean back inside. Overall it's a great purchase that encourages the imagination!

This was a huge hit this season! The mat, field goals, and players allowed for hours of fun. Just wish it came with a mini football. We used a small piece of duct tape that we rolled up to improvise.

They are perfect and my son loved them. They are sturdy and not some cheap plastic. This was his favorite Christmas present

I got this for my 4 year old grandson for Christmas who was using anything he could find (batteries, rocks, etc.) to simulate football games. This was by far his favorite Christmas gift. I placed the field on 1/8" plywood because the cloth field is great for travel but the wrinkles in the folded creases cause some of the men to fall over. I used masking tape to hold the field down on the plywood (33" X 20 1/2"). And I used a steamer to remove the wrinkles from the cloth before taping the cloth to the plywood. The end zone logo and center of the field logo was done in PowerPoint with clear tape used to hold it down on the field. My 9 year old grandson wants one now.

My 3 yr old grandson is obsessed with the football guys!! His favorite Christmas present! Although I do believe this set is extremely overpriced, I am glad I made the purchase.
