I admit I have very dark hair practically black so I didn't expect it to show up much if at all. But it gave a nice violet/plum look was not disappointed and the instructions were very clear.

Absolutely great product, it leaves my hair in fantastic condition.

Colour is not as depicted on box not as vibrant. My hair now looks very dark with plum highlights when the light hits it...it is still nice so I'm happy. My normal colour is dark brown so it's a few shades darker with the plum.One gripe is the gloves that come with it, i have average sized hands but it was near impossible to get them on without tearing. The conditioning cream is fabulous though and leaves hair feeling wonderful.

I’d already used the ‘blue black’ in this range previously, so I knew it was a simple to use kit.As with most hair dyes of this type, you have a developer and a carrier that you mix together and then apply to the hair immediately using the applicator bottle.There was no particularly strong smell and the lotion once mixed is thick enough that it doesn’t drip particularly but you should always use a towel over your shoulders anyway, and I have an old T-shirt that I always wear when I colour my hair. It rinsed out easily once the time was up, and there is a conditioning treatment included in the kit to apply after rinsing.I found the colour to be quite subtle on my dark hair with a slightly more obvious purple colour on my greys which gives quite a nice effect. The grey coverage was actually very good, and I would definitely use this again

Nice colour, easy to use but the colour didn’t last as long as the Schwarzkopf version

We started off as dirty blonde hair then applied the purple dye. I gave it 5 stars as it had clear instructions, was easy to use and looks great on my partner. The conditioner that came with it looks like it would last a while which is good and it smells nice, I recommend. I'd say you get quite a lot of dye aswell so its great for long hair.

I've rated the product 5 as I love this brand and colour. My gripe is why oh why do amazon insist in squashing a square box into flat packaging. It's amazing the contents doesn't split?? Yet again arrived damaged??? Square box flat packaging just don't go?

When preparing it wouldn't mix together, had a lot of bubbles in it and stayed an odd shade of yellow rather than turning purple. Will not be buying again.
