I’m very happy with this electric bike. It arrived assembled and just needed unfolding, placing the seat and twisting accessories into place. With the electric only mode at full throttle it reaches just over 20mph on a level surface. It’s fun to zip around full throttle on bike paths. The throttle level can be controlled to go at speeds from 5mph to 20mph by holding the throttling in the right place. The pedal assist mode makes going up hills easy. It also works well as an ordinary bike with 6 speed gears. I haven’t used it’s full range yet but the bike covered 9 miles after a full charge with 2/5 bars left so it looks like I’ll get around 15 miles of range.I wish the electric only mode could enabled without the pedal assist mode. When starting off or doing a tight turn I tend to cycle the pedals to stabilize the bike (a habit from riding normal bikes). This causes the assist mode to kick in causing the bike to suddenly speed up. Another annoying thing is that when at full throttle for a while the battery level indicator shows a lower level than actual level. The level moves back to normal after a few seconds of no throttle. After reading up on this it might be a quirk of other electric bikes too.Overall, this is a fantastic bike. It looks and feels like it is made of high quality materials, it’s fun to ride, and is good value.

pros. Price was good. Folding so we can take two of them in our car. Rides good for street. Do lots of night riding and the lights are very nice.cons Seat was not very comfy we changed them. Had a stripped out adjustment lever for the handle bar height.We use number 2 or 3 setting most the time. at 3 with the highest gear you are not really putting any power into riding. climbs hills fine makes riding more like driving :)we plan to use these camping and to go with the kids on their bikes.

I bought this in 2022. The bike is good but after using 2+ years, battery capacity ran out and the bike doesn't run for more than 15 min with battery. With unique shape of the battery, I cannot find a replacement battery now. The company doesn't offer one either. I cannot believe they are still selling this product on Amazon!

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 29 year old son. I researched e-bikes on Amazon for over a week before deciding to purchase this one. He’s 5’6 and this fits him perfectly. It was shipped folded. Easy to put together. Love the fact that it comes with a key to lock and unlock the battery. It arrived with a little charge so we were able to check out the screen and the bell. I have a Jetson which is perfect for me. But I really like this one. I may buy one for myself. This bike seems like it’s good quality, and it was a good price. At first when I told my husband I bought it he was upset but after seeing it he said it was a good choice. The Populo company is also sending a free cable lock for the bike. To me that’s a good company, and a great thing to do. I would recommend buying this e-bike.

The bike was easy to put together right out of the box. Several of the coverings fell off and could not be reattached. Luckily, we found them as we were using the bike. The battery fluctuates on and what it shows the charge is. The batter is easy to remove. The throttle is slow to work especially on a hill.

Enjoy this bike very much as a commuter. Ride eight miles a day to work. Ride even more as it has replaced my car. Reached 3500 miles in year and half. To measure range in time - it goes about 45 minutes in Full electric mode. Highest Pedal assist mode for 90 minutes. Bike very heavy to pedal with no assist. Two hours to recharge. Fast enough to keep up with any bike. Passing other bigger battery bikes doesn't happen.Replaced tires. Not enough knobby-ness, many flats. Replaced entire brake mechanisms. Non-standard, hard to find brake pads for replacement. Replaced the whole brake system $80.Folded is too bulky to bring on bus. Folds easy into trunk of an Uber when it rains. Don't like to have to fold bike to remove battery. Folded bike is hard to carry. I Try to avoid the folding.Overall very pleased with bike. Reliable and convenient commuter car replacement. Looks great and fun to ride.

This is a very nice little foldable bike. It rides very nicely and folds/unfolds well. It was delivered much earlier than expected and it didn't take very long to complete the assembly. I didn't use the instructions at all but I did watch the video first. There are several things to watch for. #1, the lowest speed setting (1) is way too fast!. It goes about 10 mph in this setting. Should have been something more like 5 - 7 MPH. #2, the red light on the charger is super dim. I thought the charger wasn't working until I took into a dark place. The green light is plenty bright. Besides that everything is cool. It goes 20 mph although the steep rake on the front wheel makes it twitchy at that speed. The front suspension does a nice job of smoothing out bumps giving it a very nice ride for the smallish 20" wheels. I can't say how far it will go yet. I wouldn't expect too much as it has a very small battery compared to most. This is not a problem for me as I am using it to get between two places about a mile apart and I can easily charge it from time to time. The USB port and lights are a very nice touch. The front light is surprisingly bright. It appears to be built very well and it came well packaged. I highly recommend this bike for light duty zipping around.

My e-bike came with a metal part sticking out a little too far from the frame that did not allow me to pedal. The company is not in business anymore so they cannot help you and when you need a new battery if the bike initially works for you you will be unable to find one. Save yourself time, money, and frustration, and go with an e-bike that has a responsive company still in business.
