This cover should be considered when buying a Tonneau cover for your truck.I wanted a Tonneau cover for my new F-150, having previously purchased a BAKFlip from Bakindustries for my son's F-150. I was again going to purchase a BAKFlip. However, my new F-150 had an automatic tailgate, and I didn't want to mess around raising the cover before closing the tailgate.Following some research, I opted for the Gator EFX Hard Tri-Fold Truck Bed Tonneau Cover, and it's an advantage for me because I could open and close the tailgate without lifting the bed cover. A bonus was that it was more cost-effective than the BAKflip.It took about an hr to fit, taking my time to ensure a good, snug fit. Looks fantastic, and the quality is great. Installation was straightforward, as the included instructions were perfect.The only area where the BAKFlip has this particular model beaten is that you can fold back all 3 panels; with the Gator EFX, the third panel is fixed. I don't intend to use the bed for tall large items, so this wasn't a major problem.The panel is very lightweight, making both opening and closing super easy for my wife, and during those occasions that I may want to transport larger items - removing the cover in its totality will be easy.The only area that I can't give feedback on yet is waterproofing. However, the supplied fixing strip and drain tubes shows consideration from Gator regarding this. Having ensured that daylight can't be seen during installation - I'm highly confident that this won't be an issue. I'll update you as and when.Very happy with my purchase and recommend considering it during your research for a tonneau cover.

I'm very happy with the Gator ETX soft roll up tonneau cover. It has a tight fit on my 2024 F150 lightning. It keeps the bed dry. It was easy was to install and adjust. Its also really easy to roll back and secure when I want to hall a large item in my bed. Overall it was a great value for the money and I would purchase again.

Okay fellas, I know many of you are, as you read this review, prolly already have several various Tonneau covers saved in your cart, and have watched about 20 YouTube video's titled: "The best Tanneau cover for (insert year)". I was originally going to pop $1400+ on a retractable cover, made by a brand name manufacturer, but I just couldn't get over the cost for what I was really looking for. I'm not a contractor, so heavy duty & security was not a major priority. I was; however, looking for great aesthetics for my truck, as well as basic security for stored items in the bed. I also wanted a cover that could easily allow access to the entire bed if needed and was easy to place back in its secure position. Well, this Gator cover is perfect for my needs, and as you can see in the photos, it looks great. I was amazed by the ease of install and the overall quality of the cover and hardware. I did it by myself which took all of around 35 minutes to complete. Tip: unpack and lay everything in the bed with you and do not place anything on the tailgate as you will need to shut it while you tighten brackets. Then there is this: Read the instructions before you start. I know some of you, like me, can handle Ikea instructions like a Boss, but just do it and save yourself a hassle. Trust me, it's a straight forward instal with only two sockets. All in all it was a great buy and I'm very happy with the purchase of this cover over a more expensive option. If expense is an issue, you can't go wrong with this Gator ETX Soft Roll Up!

This is the third Gator Tonneau cover I've purchased over the last several years. The first was a soft roll up and the second was a hard bifold cover. Both were excellent and had zero issues. This cover originally shipped with a bent rail. I called Amazon to see if a replacement part could be sent however the only option was for an entire replacement to be shipped. A few days later the replacement arrived in perfect condition. I watched Gators YouTube installation video before ordering. The installed states if you have the factory Ford bedliner you will have to may have to make an alteration to fit the tonneau cover. What that meant was cut giant chunks out as pictured. Had I known that I would have not ordered for this truck. However, already being an exchange in on a $900 item I wasn't sure of Amazon would return the 2nd one. The installation video was very helpful and even having to cut the bed and installing alone it only tool about 90 minutes. The cover uses plastic stops to lock the cover. I am a little concerned on how long those will last but I'm confident I can build a replacement of it comes to that. Cover looks amazing but sits a little high above the bed near the tailgate. I've heard zero sound driving at highway speed. Overall Id say this is a 4star product ***assuming the plastic bumper stops last***. If you have a factory ford bedliner you may have similar issues with other brands of rolling tonneau covers. The canister can't sit as close to the cab because the bedliner angles in on the edges.

Easy to install, fits perfect and looks great! One of my securement strap hooks was broken on transport and I received a replacement from RealTruck warranty for this product. They were responsive and got me a replacement quickly. Does have a good warranty on the cover as well, would go with this brand again in future.

Great price! Easy to install. Fits my 2025 F150 short bed perfectly !The dealer ship wanted $2500 for a hard cover but this one was on sale for $549 and made in the USA!!!Note people who are saying their tailgate won’t close. It is because they are not pushing the cover all the way back. If you put the bolts on the cover before hand. They will prevent cover from going all the way back of the bed causing issues with the tailgate closing.
