Very good binding and highly visible print…basic instructions before leaving earth…read it!

Great study Bible. Good quality hard cover. My only complaint is I wish it came in NKJV. Nothing wrong with NIV to start but to get deeper meaning a more authentic version to the translation is needed. Not to mention NIV is missing key passages about fasting.

Perfect for study and sermon prep. Love the extra resources in the back.

Update 7/14/2021After opening it and starting to read genesis… He is not capitalized as it should be when referring to our creator. I was hoping the first one was a mistake but alas it is all like that.OriginalMy fault for not really doing more research. I was hoping for either a black or dark grey as the pictures show. Will probably just make some stickers for it or get a nice cover. The inside is the important part and I like it. Typical Bible with thin pages. They are thicker than some of my NKJV’s so that’s nice. I am 33 but I think my eyes might be going a little cuz the 9 point seems a little small to me now. That’s what most of my bibles are looking at them side by side. If I could do over I would get a larger print but I am not returning it. I like what all is included on the inside even if I do need to go get some reading glasses lol

The Open Bible is packed full of great study helps, with the largest topical index I have ever seen in a bible. The Leathersoft or some may call "leathertex cover is very convincing and super durable. Although it has a paste down liner, it is perimeter stitched which gives it a higher end look and feel. The standout for me is the page design and type setting in this Bible. The Headings and Book names are in a muted red as are the verse references at the bottom of the page where they are easy to see without crowding the page when reading. Great introductions for every book of the Bible. (2) two-sided ribbon markers that are a quite nice quality. The page design is done by 2K Denmark which is the same as many very high end Bibles. Hard to beat this one for the money. Would not recommend the brown imitation leather as it has a much cheaper feel to it. Overall Highly recommend this one. Will become a favorite for study!

I need to return this item even though it has been several months since I ordered it, the text is much too small for me I need a larger print.

When I first purchased this Bible, I did it on a whim as I am a "collector." I started my Christian journey using the New International Version and have added other version is. I was very intrigued by the description of this particular version, "The Open Bible." I knew going in that it was more of the reference Bible than anything else, but it is certainly unique. Scattered throughout, as any other good study or life application Bible, are plenty of notes that I have yet to see in other versions. Some very interesting points are highlighted and make my Bible study just that more a bit interesting to get yet other perspectives of similar Bible verses/chapters I had read hundreds of times yet never picked up on the intended nuances. I think this is a great addition to your library; I assume that this version is available in some of the other common versions (KJV, NKJV, NASB, etc.) I have really enjoyed what this Bible as to offer information more
